River's Sushi

My favorite sushi place in Vancouver. They have amazing vegetarian sushi options like starburst, MDMA, and my all time favorite avocado crunchy roll. I have easily ordered from them more than 10 times

There are quite a few sushi places along this stretch of Broadway. I chose this one simply on the size of the menu - it's huge! My personal preference is of nigiri. The menu specifies that each nigiri order will produce two pieces. This was not a problem for me. Maybe 18 pieces is a lot for some but I was very happy. The green tea came automatically and without any extra charge and was refilled more than once. Very good value for money and very pleasant service. Also I scored a table in the window. Bonus!

Hidden gem. Ok not that hidden... But great quality for a very fair price. On par with my best of downtown. Don't want to over hype as I only tried some basics, but I will be back next time I'm in the area. Nice staff as well.

Hidden gem for me. If you looking for a cozy place, good deal, friendly service and delicious. Highly recommend this place!!! If you like spicy, not too spicy, must try their Red Dragon roll!!! So gooooddd!!!!! They also have an amazing combo for ~$20 that you can pick 3-4dishes served with free miso soup!!!

Came here on Sunday and bought 3 rolls. The staff were super nice, the chef and the server both greeted me and were friendly! I was really excited about the sushi because of the amazing reviews, and because it’s so close to where I live! Unfortunately, when I bit into my spicy salmon roll, many of the rice grains were uncooked and still rock hard, and it immediately gave me a toothache. I’ll still give 3 stars because the service was super nice, and the flavor was still yummy, really the only issue was the uncooked rice! Maybe I just caught them on a bad rice day. I’m sure I’ll come by again to give them another try, and hopefully the rice will be cooked!!

Tasteless food! The dishes always look good but completely tasteless. I gave them multiple tries because I felt it was cheap food so whatever. But my last order, they charged extra $1.05 for barely a teaspoon of hot sauce. Worst of all the sauce wasn't even good. So I will not be coming back and I cannot recommend this restaurant.Food: 1/5

GREAT value of tasty food for less money. I always order the tofu box even though I'm not vegetarian or vegan just because of how delicious everything it includes is. The edamames are good, and the sushi rolls are well prepared too. I believe their combos and party trays are some of the best deals you could find in the entire city.

The best sushi around! I go far and out to come here. Creative and huge selection of rolls, and reasonably priced too please stay that way!. Food is always fresh and well made. Service is always friendly and welcomingFood: 5/5

Beautiful and simple Interior. All three rolls I ordered were fresh and delicious. Friendly server. And for a bonus, you get 10% off if you pay cash. Will definitely come back and try more of the rolls.

One of my favorite sushi places in town. I just don’t give 5 stars because it says they close at 9:30pm, but if you show up 9 o’clock they don't welcome you and even close the door in your face saying they are already closed… Well, it would be better to advertise they close at 9pm
