Very good drink and many varieties. Do look at the advertised board on specialty drinks because they are quite creative and tasty. We had both Mango drink and bubble tea. However , quite expansive per drink so choose wisely. Also ask for less ice because the drink is very much diluted with too much ice and during fall and winter …… it really does not make sense at all. But if you want a flavourful drink with good quality ingredients, they seem to be doing a good job. however $10 a non alcoholic drink is quite a price tag!!!
Came here for the Black Sugar Boba. This is equivalent to a brown sugar boba drink. Atmosphere was very nice, place was clean and service was quick. Staff is kind. Allows customization of bbt. It was delicious, but very pricey! Other places have similar tasting bubble tea for cheaper. The boba is also a little too soft. Due to the price, I wont come back on the regular, only for special occasions.
Excellent cafe for hangout with friends and family. They have variety of cold and hot beverages. Must try the tiger mouse with cheesecake and the mango sago. So good! Had the mango drink. Thoroughly enjoyed it. After we finished the drink, we wanted another. We look forward to the next time. The Black Sugar drink is their trade mark drink. Very excited for the next time. I suggest you try it.
their menu options are extensive!! this is good for the people that like to try new things i went for the black tea brown sugar milktea with mochi and it was delicious! can't wait for them to open one in québec!
Nice experience. I usually don’t like ‘sugar’ caramel, etc series but decided to give it a try. I got Black Sugar Coffee with Cheese Mousse and I found it pretty nice. The best part of the drink was the coffee jelly, it was very unique and delicious. It would’ve been nice if I was able to change the sugar level for this drink, as I found it a tad bit too sweet. But again, that’s probably because I usually don’t go for the caramelized drinks. I would go back and try again when I’m nearby!
Pretty much the same as Toronto thank god lol. Drinks are solid but overpriced so they make for a nice treat. Their black sugar boba/pearls are their specialty which is worth trying for first timers. Note that you can't adjust the ice and sugar level for some maybe all? the black sugar milk series. The interior is renovated nicely and staff are quick and friendly.
Ordered the Tiger Cheese Mousse Boba Milk and it was nauseating sweet and salty. It felt like I was drinking this thick salty and sweet syrup. My tongue felt like it was coated with it afterward. The aftertaste was bad. Definitely will not get this drink anymore.
Heard a lot of vibes about this bubble tea shop and gave it a try toda, despite it's more expensive than other bubble tea shops on Merivale. What a disappointment! The bubble tea was terribly sweet and customers don't have an option for 30% less sugar. Definitely won't go back again!
Tiger Sugar is finally open in Ottawa! I always get a Black Sugar Boba Milk w/ cream mousse whenever I’m back home in the GTA. Was worried that they would lack consistency, but surprisingly happy that the quality and taste is exactly the same here! I was only disappointed that they didn’t have the pudding topping available—however I’m sure it’s because it was still their soft opening! It’ll definitely be back as it’s a lot more accessible now having locally opened in the neighborhood
