Being open til 2am makes them the best late night grub! Food's always delicious but just takes a while sometimes. Obviously not super traditional sushi but still tasty nonetheless and they have their own unique items!
So good. The sushi is great but they really outdo themselves with the bubble tea. I tried the Taro with mango jelly. The hot and cold layers was unlike any bubble tea i had.
Literally the worst sushi and sashimi I've ever had. First off the order was an hour late and it showed up with the most rancid sushi and sashimi I've ever had. Fish looked and smelt like it came from a can and was sitting out for hours and even the avocado roll was stale with old avocado. The entire order smelt off.
They are friendly and the food is decent. I like that they are open until 2pm. That being said, they rarely get an order right. A few times they forgot the spicy mayo, on an other occasion when i ordered the fried roll i received a regular roll. Today i ordered 4 tamago nigri but received only 2. Also i had a long brown hair in my crunchy sandwich.
The sushi is only edible and average.... they skimp on the number of pieces per roll. Only 5 pieces per roll.. I have had better sushi. Drove a long distance and arrived with high expectations but actually leaving disappointed.
The salmon poke was delicious but the salmon sashimi bento was mediocre. The pricing was very reasonable and the portion was generous.
I've ordered here before with no issue. I was so disgusted by my order today I had to warn others. I received 2 sushi rolls tonight with mold and rotting food in it. I took photos. You can see some dark brown but also deep black mold on some parts. They had to have seen this while cutting the veggies and rolling up these rolls I ate 2 pieces before noticing as there was a weird taste. I took them apart to find all pieces had a moldy chunk of avocado in them. This is completely unacceptable for a resteraunt. I was shocked to see another reviewer had a similar issue. Shame on you Sushiman for sending moldy food to your customers. Yuck! Hope I don't get sick from this. Follow up: tried emailing the owner using the email provided. The email doesn't work :/ I'd also like to note we did get sick from eating your food. I am shocked that this resteraunt doesn't plan to take ownership of sending customers moldy food. I highly recommend not eating here as you can get sick. We advised their team we got sick from the rotten food. They told us to contact doordash for their mistake! Doordash didn't make my food. This is ridiculous and awful customer service on your teams side.
I love this place with my whole heart. The general Tao chicken wrap is to die for. I will travel so far for it and everytime it hits better than ever. Staff is always so friendly and I will never not come here! I live seven hours away and when my friend came to visit she packed a cooler with the wrap for me. We love sushiman forever <3
Good price but not the best sushis in Ottawa. Not fresh, not much taste and missing ingredients..Food: 3/5
Had a really lovely experience when I went for lunch and got a veggie sushi burrito called an indochina maki for just $7 after tax. The ladies were so nice and pleasant to interact with :
