The first time going in there I was not happy. I showed up with a friend and albeit being in my day off clothes did not receive pleasant service I was ignored for a couple who looked like they had some cash to spend. Gave it a second try and left happy customer service was great and found some great maternity clothes. I talked to the lady who did not treat me so well last time and she apologized. I'm glad when people own up to mistakes expecially managers.
I had such a great experience in there this afternoon! Both ladies were super helpful in helping me find a pair of jeans and a bra! I felt good to be in there with my giant tummy and I felt comfortable talking to them asking what I need. Very helpful and a great customer service on my first maternity shopping experiance.
At the end of August 2018 I went into the Red Deer store to return two shirts. I had the receipt and the shirts had their tags still intact. The woman I dealt with was very rude when she saw I needed to make a return. She lectured me that I was not within the 30 day return policy and put my return cost on a gift card which I understood. When I left the store, after being treated so disrespectfully, I checked my original receipt and realized I was well within the 30 day return policy and it was the woman's error not mine. I went back in and dealt with the same staff member who rudely told me that she did make the error but she already put the money on a gift card so there wasn't anything she could do. I told her I understood what happened but it was not my mistake and I was well within the stores return policy. After being sure to Inform me on how much of a hassle it was going to be for her to make the proper return multiple times she read some notes she found and made the return onto my credit card. Never once did she apologize for her mistake or the run around she gave me let alone her behaviour. I did contact head office about my experience and no one got back to me so I am now on here to let any expecting mothers know that if you have a way to shop anywhere else for your maternity clothes please do. I have since been to Edmonton and had the best experience and would gladly travel or order online rather then to ever step foot in Thyme Materinty Red Deer again.
The door lady older longer blonde hair with glasses super rude and doesn't know how to treat or talk to customers. This location has the poorest service and they close early way before covid. Staff have no knowledge of pregnancy and helping there customers. Try to make a sale I will not be shopping in this location ever again. You can honestly buy maternity clothes anywhere. So let's hope for new staff and management at this location.
Horrible experience here older lady with short blonde hair was rude and told me I did wear the bra I was trying to return when I tried it on once as my mom got it for me. Because it had fuzz on it apperantly that means u wore it. It was past the 30 days but she could have just said that and not been so rude. Will never go back here horrible service and overpriced.
I’ve shopped here a few times and I find the employees to be pushy and overbearing. They also have the WORST selection of sizes! Usually there is only xs or xl available.
The ladies there are always so wonderful! Customer service is always great and they actually help you out !
The manager of this store lacks PR skills. She is quite rude and unfriendly. Would not shop here again.
