They have always been very helpful whenever I have called and had questions. Even redirecting me politely when I've had the wrong department. The website is a wealth of information. Easy to navigate. Love the social media updates! Good job!!

The staff at the TBDHU is knowledgeable and friendly. They go out of their way to ensure that the public is informed, comfortable and cared for.

It has taken me a while to get the courage to tell my story and how these incompetent idiots made a nightmare 100 times worse.... I have irregular periods maybe 2 or 3 a year and was told I could not have children I was a heavy alcoholic when I fell pregnant ..I went to the health unit for abortion enquiries obviously crying shaking, in complete shambles the nurse just looked irritated with me because I could not tell her how far I was UMMM NOT MY FAULT! ..she just sat there with dead fish eyes looking at me waiting for an answer I just kept repeating I need an ultrasound ..(Heavier set women with a pink streak) completely incompetent at her job.....don't people get bad news in this building?? Why aren't the staff trained to deal with someone in crisis??? so I did the right thing and got an abortion that had to take place in Toronto where I was told I was going to be sedated for the procedure instead I was tortured,ridiculed, laughed at by doctors and nurses for 3 days! at one point I asked why are you being so mean? (to the nurse) to wich she replied ( YOUR MEAN YOU DO DRUG } I said that's not true what the hell is going on im an alcoholic..this is a nightmare to witch she replied oh wrong file... WRONG FILE!!! Wtf!!! as I lay screaming somethings wrong I'm scared I was taken away from my husband secluded in complete horror and excruciating pain they where forcing my cervix open with no pain killers i asked about going to the hospital because I knew this wasn't right if I ever inflicted that kind of pain on someone I'd be facing 20 years but doctors are above the law sadly...they lied to me telling me not to go to the hospital when I eventually collapsed in the street the ambulance took me to the hospital who immediately offered pain management ..complete bullshit they wanted to make money off my suffering and at one point i was considering taking my own life to stop the pain witch was hard labour they gave me Tylenol what a joke..the nightmare did not end there I came home and listened to my messages one from the health unit the root of it all.... I cringed... i had an infection and needed antibiotics after being traumatized in Toronto I told the nurse I was not in any shape mentally or physically I was 5.5 months when I delivered my body needed rest and recovery..I could not pick up my prescription I'll send my husband to wich she replied no you have to come here ....I'm really upset with the staff there for sending me to these monsters to be tortured for fun IN THE FIRST PLACE...the health unit was the last place I EVER wanted to be in ever ever again.... in the waiting room at the health unit i experienced chest pains, shortness of breath, fear , walls closing in feeling finally after 20 minutes wich felt like hours...I lost it when I got into the office screaming I WAS TORTURED THEY TORTURED ME!! She ran away where this nasty red head apparently the boss came in telling me to calm down that I was abusing staff again I was asked an impossible task I thought my head was going to explode if I didn't get out of there . She tormented me making me sit there till she was satisfied...my life was on the line I had to reach down and find strength i didn't know was there to try to "look" calm so I can get my medication.....after all this bullshit wanna know why I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO GO THERE ...to tell me this medication might upset my stomach...REALLY!!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!THE SAME DAMN THING THE PHARMACIST TOLD ME....shame on you I hope you burn in hell you sick bastards!!
