Reception staff are absolutely stellar; they all know so much and are very communicative, intuitive and efficient. The level of patience required to answer all my questions cannot be understated and every single one of these receptionists possess “god-level” of patience. also, text reminders for appointments are very helpful. My dental hygienist was an absolute unit! cleaned and scaled my crooked overlapping teeth in stride and mostly pain free! sans freezing or laughing gas still in shock that I didn’t need any and no pain later that day; a testament to her skill and technique. she rose to the challenge like the fine gladiator that she is because she had a lot to tackle. Dr.Puksa; “I’ve been looking for this man my whole life” is something I never thought I’d be saying in a dental office, but here we are! This doctor has completely changed the way I view the dental world. Not only does he also possess “god-level patience” with my incessant questions, but he’s also amazing at gaining rapport and expressing his own logic and reasoning while presenting options. I have never had such an in-depth overview and evaluation of my teeth-multiple epiphanies were had with links being made to my ADHD, the meds i’m on, breathing issues all the way down to thumb sucking as a child and it’s link to ADHD my psychiatrist who specializes in ADHD has never made that connection for me! mind= blown taking all my issues into account, Ive never had a more clear picture of what’s going on with my teeth and how they’re effecting me and now have an actual path to fix them. words cannot express my gratitude. I’m so lucky to have met such an incredible team of people; I’ve never felt more cared about, and am so grateful to have finally found a doctor like Dr. Puksa- the man of my dental hopes and dreams! 5 stars 100% recommend

I was very pleased with my recent dental visit. The staff were kind, professional and were exceptional at making sure I was comfortable during my treatment. Protocols around COVID-19 were spot-on. I felt very comfortable at my appointment as there were screening questions at the time of my call and upon my arrival. The staff are doing everything possible to keep their patients and their staff safe. Overall a great appointment. Thank you!!

The receptionist team especially Erin are amazing and very helpful. Erin has gone above and beyond for my family. We see Dr Puksa and he is such a kind person who genuinely wants you to understand what he is doing and why. I get a dental lesson everytime I see him

My older sister is a client of Dr. Florindo and when I had a very painful tooth, she was recommended to me. The staff were very friendly and understanding of my situation. I was booked for the Monday but I got a call back that there was an opening tomorrow, so I jumped on it. I was very nervous going in as I have alot of anxiety when I visit the dentist. All staff and Dr. Florindo took the time to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Florindo explained every part of the exam and what was needed to be done for my painful tooth. Dr. Florindo took the time to correct my bite, which made a world of difference for someone who clenches their jaw when stressed and grinds their teeth at night splint will be happening soon. I really love the passion Dr. Florindo has for oral health and for you as an individual. I just can't say enough of how wonderful Dr. Florindo and her staff are. I am so lucky to now be her client too!

Dr. A. Puksa is the best dentist I’ve seen in my life. As a child, I did not have great experiences at the dentist. When my daughter was born she had tongue and lip tie. The lactation consultant recommended Thunder Bay Dental Center, and Dr. Puksa performed the procedure to fix my baby’s mouth issues. Since this establishment was accepting new patients, I decided that it’s about time to go to the dentist myself as it’s been, well, longer than I’d like to admit because of my childhood anxieties and experiences. Dr. Puksa performed a holistic examination of my past and present health history. We discussed my anxieties and fears, and for every fear, he had a solution. After my intake examination, it was determined I had a cavity. My anxiety and fear came back like a PTSD episode. I wanted it done and over with, so they booked me the next day. I wasn’t able to sleep that night, worried and anxious about the filling. Dr. Puksa ensured that everything I said I feared about the dentists, was dealt with, so I wouldn’t have to experience it in the same way again. I’d give 6 stars if I could

Dr.Florindo is personable and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. If you are sensitive or have anxiety about the dentist she is wonderful with adults and with children. She goes above and beyond for my children. I highly reccomend this dental care center.

The staff at this office are wonderfully friendly knowledgable and inviting.The dentist is top notch 11 out of 10.Seriously I've never had such a thorough exam by such a warm and positive dentist.I am so comfortable letting Dr.Florinda look after my teeth.
