Think Mutual Bank

Never have I dealt with a bank that was so kind . They treat me like an old friend. They remember who you are. They go the extra mile. The other day i was talking to the operator and i mentioned i was going to the Mayo Clinic the next day and if she new a good place to eat, the next thing I got an e-mail with a list of 5 different places. They will screw you over every chance they get. Go to a credit union.

I love Think Bank.....in Rochester. I have a savings account with Think and was in the process of setting up a checking account, as well as signing up for online banking, but the banker never got back to me to finish the process. Justin Hellickson did not follow through with anything he had agreed to over the phone, aside from opening the account for me. Not once during the phone call did he mention there was an initial deposit fee (which I later learned there was NOT an initial deposit fee for customers who already have accounts with Think) for opening the account - even though it was mentioned twice on the paperwork he sent me (see attached photos) - in one place stating $50.00 initial opening fee, and in a second place, $100.00 initial opening fee. When I contacted Justin to ask about this, he told me that he could transfer $100.00 from my savings to my checking, but never did it. I asked Justin if he could please mail me a bank card to my address and he asked me if I would rather it be mailed to my address or if I would prefer to stop in to a Think location and get the card that day.. I preferred to just have one mailed, he NEVER arranged this. He never ordered my card at all (per the banker I spoke with at the Rochester branch). I requested to be signed up for online banking while I was on the phone with Justin, he did not complete this over the phone so I assumed that my online banking username would be in the e-mail he was sending me that contained my account informtaion, it was not. I e-mailed Justin back asking about my online banking set up and he never responded. Justin - Don't commit to things if you don't plan on following through. Luckily, the banker I spoke with at Think in Rochester was AWESOME. She took care of everything I needed in 11 minutes. 2 Stars because the checking account was opened.. but no more than that because the service was sub par.

Horrible fees? Sounds like somebody is salty about not managing their money correctly.
