A warm cozy atmosphere with a big stone fireplace, charming wood beams and floor to ceiling paned windows creates an ambiance like no other at Big White.

Story

Our inspiration for The Woods came from living and appreciating beautiful British Columbia. We wanted to create a place that made travelling guests feel like they were in Canada (without the gimmicky beaver or Beiber references!) and a place that Canadians could be proud of. The Woods doesn’t try and ‘transport you to a wine bar in Italy’ but celebrates the beauty of being on a snowy mountain in Canada.
We designed a place where we would hang out, a comfortable and friendly environment that is classy without being stuffy. Where guests can share a laugh with like-minded people, over a bottle (or two!) of their favourite wine. This is a place where you can drop-in for a break from the slopes – just to have a cold beer, or come with your friends for an evening of live music, drinks & great food.
Only at Big White can you be in the Heart of the Village, and find yourself in The Woods!
