Food, atmosphere and staff 10/10! We enjoyed family lunch here and we had a lovely experience! The food was hot and fresh, the staff was welcoming and happy and the restaurant was clean and had great seating!nThe kids ate every last bite! Would definitely recommend and will be going back again! Thank you A&W Castlegar for making this an easy, affordable and enjoyable family lunch!
Disappointing Breakfast ExperiencennI recently ordered an All Canadian breakfast to go from A&W, opting for all sausage and no bacon. I placed my order around 6:50 AM and received it by 7:20 AM, which felt unusually long for a takeout order, especially considering the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time.nnI was traveling from Castlegar to Nelson, and when I finally opened the box in Nelson, I was met with disappointment. The toast and sausages were completely burned, making them inedible. Unfortunately, I couldn’t return to the store as I was running late for a ferry. To make matters worse, I had to throw away the food, which made me really sad.nnThis was my first bad experience with A&W, which is usually quite reliable. The staff who prepared my meal seemed totally ignorant of the quality standards expected. Given the price, I expect quality food, and this experience fell far short of that. The only redeeming part of the meal was the eggs and hash browns, which were the only items that were edible. Overall, I felt quite cheated by this experience.
All Canadian Special breakfast is our usual order at A&W. What makes this location special is I think lady’s name is Breanne. She’s super energetic and we had special requests and she had a can do attitude.
Chicken sandwich receives a glob of mayonnaise and a sliver paper thin slice of lettuce. $11. When does this substitute a decent burger. Skip this place
