I would just like to say that I LOVE this place! The Woodrack Cafe has this amazing energy about it. The breakfast artichoke sandwich was probably the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The Caramel latte was delicious and the owner was so great. Definitely my new spot when I’m travelling to Edmonton
We went there to really try their coffee and food. We ordered their dinner specials and coffee of course. The cheesy broccoli soup was the only thing that stood out, apart from that, the coffee is not so remarkable. I love their cozy chairs though, staff were okay, there was no rapport made, they were just waiting for us to order. But they could improve on our next visit!
Making my rounds with Edmonton’s coffee pass and discovered this gem for the first time today. We tried a strawberry & cheese Danish they warmed it up which was out of this world. Also tasty was the lemon ricotta cheesecake waffle woopie pie. And the oat cookie latte was a wonderful blend of espresso, well-steamed oat beverage, and warm spices. The ladies behind the till were bubbly & welcoming, and the cafe atmosphere was cozy & inviting. Can’t wait to visit again!
One of my favourite cafés in Edmonton! Their gluten free treats include flourless PB&C cookies pictured below and tahini cookies. Both are very tasty and newly they are packaged individually to make them even more celiac friendly! Their coffee is also excellent - I’ve never been disappointed by one of their roasts. Plus there’s a nice new multiuse sitting area outside the alley door in addition to the park and farmers market across the street. Very instagramable cafe & surrounding area if you’re looking for a cute place to shoot. I was a regular at the old location and the staff were amazing! When I was hoping to get some gift cards for friends and family, they offered a special arrangement to make it happen despite not having physical cards. I have nothing but good things to say about Woodrack - one of Edmonton’s finest gems for sure.
Great atmosphere and kind staff but honestly the flavour and quality of the coffee was a miss for me. The temperature of the lattés were a bit cooler than I'd like and by the time I finished it it was cold. Not the best cup of coffee I've had in the city. I do find the location interesting as it's a little hidden away but despite that it's surprisingly busy! Maybe today was a miss but I don't think I'd come back.
Cute little café with a boho-vintage style and a cozy atmosphere. Has a good selection of beverages and a reasonable selection of food, offering grilled cheese, soup, pastries, and more. The service was friendly and fast. Great quiet spot for a long catch-up with a friend, or to read or work from a laptop they have wifi.Food: 5/5
I went to the Premium Outlet location because I was waiting for my flight back to Toronto and I was able to try this place out. I asked if they had croissants but they didn’t have them for the time I was there. The lady suggested this pastry and I cannot tell you enough how obsessed I was! I don’t exactly remember what it was but it was so good! I couldn’t stop telling my family about it after. Definitely a nice place to chill at if you have some time before your flight.
The place was busy which is fine but the coffee was not good. I ordered a flat white w/ oat milk but there was no latte art. Poorly made coffee. 3 stars are for the ambiance & the coziness.
We love Woodrack Cafe. I won a contest and was given a gift card and 5 bags of various coffee to try. My Son says it is the best he's ever tried and we wil definitely be buying more bags once we've used ours. My husband and I sat in and I had a delicious bacon bun and a mocha. Thomas had a lavender lattè, he found it very delicious and refreshing. We look forward to visiting again. I can't wait to try the London Fog.
I love the atmosphere here. Staff are friendly, music is groovy, drinks are yum, lighting is a beautiful mix of soft light and natural light, and the energy is light and easy- none of the intense loud cafe vibes you get at a lot of other cafes on Whyte. Thanks, Woodrack!
