"Camping Season is here, reserve a site on our beautiful campground. We offer RV as well as tent camping sites. We also have three great rental homes on property for all year fun. Hundreds of acres of pristine nature to explore. Come enjoy campfires, hiking, kayaking, swimming, fishing, and relaxation. In addition to the amazing rolling terrain the Woodlands Acres property is blessed to have three ponds as well as a 48-acre lake. Woodlands Acres has a basketball court as well as pickleball. Enjoy the sand volleyball court, swings, slides, rock wall, horseshoes and tether ball. Lastly try our jump swing or hill slide into the pond, a great way to start or end the day. We hope to see you soon."

Great campground!!!! While it only recently re-opened the grounds have been well maintained and the bathroom/bathhouse is well maintained and close to all campsites. It has a nice little park for kids, basketball court, volleyball and a beach where you can kayak or just relax. A perfect place if you just want to stay in one spot and not leave. The staff was wonderful and just a text away for any of your needs It’s also only about 5 minute drive from sage lake and 28 minutes from west branch!!! This will be our go to campground anytime we want to stay near safe lake!!!!
This is a newly reopened campground and is definitely a hidden gem. The campground has a large private lake with kayak rentals and great fishing, and a separate pond for swimming. The hiking trails looked great. We'll definitely be doing some more hiking the next time we're there. The sand volleyball pit looked inviting, but, sadly, we ran out of time to play. The management is top notch! The bathrooms were very clean, everything was well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely see you again!
Now under private ownership this is a great campground. The fishing lay a canvas swimming pond, numerous trails and hundreds of acres to explore. Great place for corporate get together's group outings have a really nice house to rent with a beautiful dock overlooking the lake. These pictures were taken at night off the deck of the house.
This is a beautiful campground with tons of places and things to do. Not only do you have access to a private sandy beach but a swing, a huge slide, all leading into a great swimming pond. The owner is really pleasant and kind and goes out of his way for your experience. Highly recommend Woodlands campground, my best camping experience to date.
This gem of a campground just opened this year, so they have lots of awesome plans in store, and things are sure to only improve. The facilities were clean and freshly painted. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and there was plenty of space--we lucked out because they are new so it wasn't crowded! The natural lake and pond and vast stretches of woodland are tranquil and filled with wildlife. We will definitely be back!
This is a great family campground with a lot to keep everyone entertained. The facilities and grounds are well maintained and the staff is friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed hiking out to the beaver pond, kayaking on the lake, playing tether ball, and swinging and jumping into the pond. It was the perfect spot for a family weekend gathering.
We spent our Labor Day Holiday Weekend here, it was wonderful!! It is still a work in progress but the owners are fantastic and are making it a great place to stay. If you haven't had a chance this year, mark your calendar for next year, something for the whole family. We feel you will not be disappointed. We are already planning a Fall camping visit! : Thank you to the Staff, it was fun!!
My wife and I spent 4th of July weekend at the campground. We had a great time. The campground offers horseshoes, volleyball, tether ball, basketball, and has a small sandy Beach. You can rent kayaks and a row boat to cruise the lake or fish. They also have cabins to rent. The owners are kind and caring individuals who just recently opened the campground. They've done an amazing job organizing the entire place. We were so happy with our stay that we're returning the weekend of July 8.
This place was a blast miles of trails really nice people and help.
Great place to relax and be close to nature. Star gazing was awesome as well!
