A cold but nice hike along the trail. Still rather in spots. A walking stick recommended till full thaw.

Decent mountain biking experience in an area of Michigan that doesn't have many trails. There is one part that is really hard to climb and a downhill section that had me go 30+ MPH. It's worth the time if you are in the area. There is also the Rifle River Recreation Area in this area. I would say this trail beats the Rifle River trail easily. There are very few people on this trail most days.

Nice, well-marked trails. I hiked the southern loop, which was fairly flat and ran not far from the road. There were places where it was a bit muddy, but overall, it was dry. Not too buggy, either. There are a lot of different trails to choose from of various lengths and difficulty.
