I think this is the best breakfast I've ever had! The service was really good too!  Can't wait until I return to Bend, I'll definitely be back!!

I thought this place would be so much better, as it had some pretty rave reviews. It was incredibly disappointing, to say the least. We ordered water and coffee to start, but after our food order was placed, our server didn’t come back over to our table until the food arrived about 20 minutes later. Our water and coffee was long empty when she brought the food, and she just dropped the plates and started walking away, so I had to flag her down to get refills. We did not see her again until the check came, no check-in at all. The food was terrible. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs; his eggs were cold upon arrival, the biscuits were doughy and the gravy was very oily so it was just mush, totally unappetizing. He ate two bites. My toast had a long, blonde hair in it. None of the servers had their hair pulled back, which is actually a health code violation, very unsettling to see in a food service environment. The housemade applesauce was bitter and had a very unpleasant filmy aftertaste. My omelette was well overcooked, the eggs were bone dry and the bacon tasted like it had been cooked several days ago. When our check was brought, our server did not ask how the food was, and there were two obviously full plates in front of us. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, and I’m completely baffled by the great reviews this place has received. I’m willing to overlook one or two negative things, but everything from the food to the service was horrible.

This is a Bend staple with phenomenal food in a very cozy setting. The wait can be rather long but it's always worth it. Everyone should have their eggs benedict at least once.

Best breakfast burritos EVER!! The "12 wheeler" biscuits & gravy was delicious (if you don't like a hint of spicy, don't get this).
