Story

Dudley’s BookShop Cafe is a locally-owned bookstore featuring a curated, in-depth selection of new and used literary fiction. Based in Bend, we are quickly becoming the Downtown spot for meetings, both formal and informal. Our cafe uses Bonsai Beans, one of the best local micro-roasters for our beans with a nice, chocolaty, dark roast Guatemalan. In addition to coffee, we also serve a variety of house-baked scones and specialty baked goods to complement that perfect espresso. Stop in today or contact us for more information!

Amazing cafe atmosphere, a good place to study or have tea/coffee with friends. Coffee is amazing, the book selection is interesting and varied, and you can sit in the downstairs cafe or in the more secluded upstairs area. One of my all time favorite spots. Employees are friendly and the owners are usually around and happy to chat.

Cool place, really great atmosphere. Awesome place overall! edit: i removed my rant about the hours not being as late as i would like. Guess i'll just have to show up earlier!

Quaint coffee and bookshop that offers local, artisan brews and good reads. Looking for something new? Used? Been itching for a calendar or caping jiurnal made hy a lical artist or a thank you card for that special someone who washed your car for you last summer then caught collera? They have it! If you watched Friends, you'll love the downstairs lounge area where you can sit back on the couch and talk about the last dream you had bout your mom. If you enjoy a read with a view and aren't prone to vertigo, the upstairs loft might just be your cup o' tea.

Love the atmosphere and ambiance of Dudleys Book Shop: comfy, great new books, good food and drink and wonderful friendly service. It is one of the best places in Bend to really understand and connect with our community.

Independent bookstores offer a distinct, usually intimate oasis in this amazoned world. This store exemplifies that point. Their book selection is contemporary and wonderfully varied. Their coffee is good too. I'm just reiterating what other reviewers have stated but it bears repeating.
