Look for no other hotel if you find a room here. Me and my friends booked one of their suite for our 2 days trip and we were left speechless. The room was beautiful, super clean and all the amenities were provided including kitchen ware. We felt like we were living in our own home. The staff were very warm and accommodating. They were there even late at night to fill up our requests. I would highly recommend this hotel stay every single time. Not to forget that this hotel is just a 10min drive away from downtown.
The Vic exceeded our expectations during our two-day stay. Our suite was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with kitchenware. The staff were exceptionally warm and responsive, ensuring our needs were met even late at night. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Victoria, the hotel features a lovely outdoor pool, barbecue area, and a fantastic restaurant with great food and service. We will definitely be back next summer. Highly recommended!
We’ve stayed here a few times now, and both stays were excellent! My partner and I travel from up island to be venders at Victoria's Ultimate Hobby and Toy show. This time we had our little one, and it was so helpful that they offered cribs for the room; it saved us so much space in our vehicle for our items we were selling at the fair. Also, huge bonus: my partner is a tall guy, and the showers are tall enough for him. Thanks again for another great stay!
Cost almost 700$ to stay two nights in a standard room. Offered a “suite” when we arrived- the suite had a separate bedroom which was little more than a closet- they couldn’t even fit more than one bedside table in beside the queen bed. Only big, super bright ultra-white lights with no dimmers- no lamps or reading lights anywhere. Terrible ambiance.nnThere’s a rickety ironing board standing in the corner of the bedroom with no iron.nNo closets. No hangars. No coat rack.nnBathroom is fully exposed right beside the kitchen with a sliding barn door and no privacy.nnBedroom window is bolted shut and A/C is in the other room… so no airflow at night.nnLike most hotels now, a bare duvet cover on the bed that’s never washed and flat sheets on either side that end up on the floor.nnThe area of town is dingy, run down, poorly lit, and felt unsafe.nnStaff/Service was lovely but we’ll never book here again. Wanted to support local but next time we’ll just go to a chain. What a terrible waste of money.
Talk about VALUE! This hotel is the poster child of it! The rooms are spacious, practical, and clean. Everything is easy to see and there’s lots of shelves to put your stuff. There’s a table to eat and write on in a living room. Our patio overlooked the pool, so it had a real holiday feeling…we enjoyed just hanging out in the space!nI especially appreciated the gym! We never tried the pool out but that’s because there’s so much to do in the surrounding location.nThe staff were really friendly, professional and attentive…very nice people!nWe really enjoyed our stay here, and will undoubtedly stay here again.nPS the breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and top notch quality! enjoy!
