I recently stayed at Solo Suites in Victoria, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. I had booked a studio suite, but to my pleasant surprise, I was upgraded to a one-bedroom suite with a full kitchen, bathroom, and in-unit washer and dryer at no extra charge. The gentleman who arranged the upgrade, Arpan, was incredibly accommodating.nnThe suite was spacious and well-appointed with two full-size TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Fresh towels were delivered proactively without us even asking, which was a nice touch. The deck offered a beautiful view, and the location just outside of downtown Victoria was perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay while still being close to the action.nnThe hotel provided free parking, both covered and uncovered, with elevators conveniently taking you up to your room. Accessing the suite was a breeze and very secure, as they provided a code for entry instead of a traditional key. This added an extra layer of convenience and security to our stay.nnI will definitely stay at Solo Suites again on my next visit to Victoria. The value for the price is unbeatable, and we loved the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Great vacation experience! Basically an apartment with room service that will make your bed, load the dishwasher, clean the bathroom, etc. Super accommodating and friendly staff! Located near a market area with lots of restaurants and the like.
I am a month late in posting this review, but I had to because of the service I received. Firstly, let me confirm that I have only stayed at hotels and never in any of the motels or airbnb for that matter. Hence, I was very skeptical about staying at solo suites for the security reasons. On the first day of arriving in Victoria, I did not get any hotels as we arrived early morning, and no hotel was ready to check us in. Holiday Inn hotel being the worst as their system shuts down at 12 midnight, and they do not want to take the pain of manually checking in the customer. Moreover, none of the hotels want to accommodate a customer at 4 am and then ask them to leave at 11 am. So, the next morning, after reading all the reviews, I decided to stay at Solo Suites as this seemed to be a better option in terms of reviews, customer satisfaction, rooms, service, etc. So i took my chances and called up Arpan and told him the situation that we didn't get any rooms last night and if he could arrange early check-in for us and he happily said it will be done. As soon as the rooms are ready, he will give me a call back, which he did 3 hours before regular check-in time. So service was on point. Regarding the rooms, we booked a suite which was very clean and spacious. There was one bedroom, one bathroom, and one living room with a kitchen and an attached balcony. 3 times the size of your regular hotel room. They provide an access code that you need to dial in order to enter. There is plenty of parking space too. Basically, it's a building, and it doesn't look like a hotel building. It's a regular looking building, but the rooms are top-notch. The only con is that no staff is available after 5 pm in case you need anything. And I didn't like the water pressure coming from the shower. I hope you do something to fix it. Also, if possible, please install more lights in the room. Other than that, there is no problem at all. Staff, on the other hand named Arpan, was outstanding. He was the most polite and decent guy I have met, honestly. Very genuine and professional towards his work. Xavier, general manager, was also very down to earth and a friendly guy. I bet you wouldn't have met such a staff before. These guys are beyond humble and very respectful. Arpan also recommended me a few places to eat, visit, etc. ARPAN, you rock man You are the BEST!!! Stay the way you are. Arpan, your name is mentioned in bold letters. Now you know who we are Overall, the place was very convenient, and the service exceeded our expectations. It was lovely staying here, and I highly recommend it to anyone in Victoria.
Had an amazing experience with Solo. The staff was super friendly and helpful even when Expedia was not. They went over and above for me and if recommended this place to anyone looking for a great stay.
