The food was super tasty; delightful and delicious! Staff and owner were all friendly. An abundance of choices which made it hard to choose. I had the spinach and Artichoke Panini and my partner had the Grain Bowl. We split a side of potato wedges and a berry smoothie. Everything tasted fresh. No doubt a winner and you can’t go wrong. The cafe is delightful and unpretentious. Nice choices for seating: some bight tables, some standard low tables then there is a nice family room feel area with comfy chairs. The ceiling looks to be an original tin ceiling painted which layers in more character. However, the establishment is in need of a little TLC. The kitchen is small kitchen and they are busting at the seams to store there ingredients. Definitely in need of a organization re-do. But to me, none of this bothered me; it added to the charm.
Great place to get food! Family run all the way through. They take your order cook and serve your food. They definitely work hard. But it’s well worth it. It shows! Everyone should give this place a chance. Also it’s black run so if that’s alluring to you get in their and go support the family and give them some great business! Super chill atmosphere and very nice people! I always love coming here when I pass through. I won’t go without it.
Highly recommend to vegans and meat-lovers alike. I was absolutely amazed at how well this place impersonates a variety of meat dishes across multiple cuisines. The "cheese steak" pictured had a wonderful texture and was satisfying enough to get me through two meals.
Went there for the first time yesterday. Cute place and service was good we ordered ahead then sat outside at one of their tables to eat. The food was fine - not great but not bad. I had the Jackfruit French Dip. Sandwiches were a good size, bread was yummy, jackfruit wasn't bad, and the au jus was okay but super salty. My husband had the cheesesteak - said it wasn't bad but not the best vegan version that he's eaten. We were disappointed that the sandwiches weren't served with anything. Even a handful of greens would have been nice. We've been trying many different vegan places recently in MA and NY and this was the first time we got just a sandwich in a box at the same price point. We thought about getting ice cream but the only option was vanilla, so we passed. All in all, not bad, and we're glad to have options, but there are a couple other local places we liked much better.
We such a wonderful time at Vegan Nest Cafe this morning It was indeed a great way to start our week and day with a delicious brunch. Thanks Nicole and your family May God continue to bless you guys Yes we will come again soon
This place is a warm and cozy environment where you can eat healthy and fresh vegan food. The food is phenomenal and made with passion. The lovely lady that was serving me and my friends today was amazing she was very warm and passionate about what she does you can tell by the way she moves around the shop and her willingness to help you with anything she does. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to any vegan lovers or people with food allergies. The vegan nest is a must go to spot. The food is amazing and so are the people thar work there!
This place was nice, the service was friendly. I had a spinach and artichoke sandwich that was quite good. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, but the food is good so don't be put off by those designations. They have an herbal coffee drink that's pretty good too, I never had it before and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is small, but it wasn't crowded. They have high chairs for kids, and games and books for older children to use. I saw a mother with her stroller inside, so that's doable. It's a short walk from Main Street, so no reason not to take a quick stroll.
Absolutely love this place! The owners are lovely folks. The food is spectacular! I would go every day if I could. I haven't been in Worcester for very long but I can already tell that this is a community jewel.
The Vegan Nest is super cozy and the food is great and reasonably priced. I had the pastrami melt pictured and it was incredible. I had a bit of the breakfast sandwich and crepe as well and they were both excellent.
Excellent food! We had a variety of sandwiches, burgers and salads, and everything was great. We had a bit of a wait for our order, however, due to staff limitations. Encourage others to give it a try if you haven't yet. You'll be pleased.
