I've purchased various power and preamp tubes from The Tubestore through the years and it has always been a great experience. Tubes are packaged well and shipped promptly. They have always performed well in my gear without fail. The one thing I'd like to see is an explanation of what these ratings on the boxes mean. I know their website has some explanations but a pdf or printout included with the tubes of what the scores mean would help I think.

I recently upgraded the tubes in my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III - OMG the TONE!!!! I thought Groove Tubes were good, these TTS tubes are next level. I ended up setting the bias at 83, which seems high - but the tone is warm and smooth with great note definition at much higher volume than before. The bell-like tone from my Stratocaster is unbelievable - very happy!

I have been dealing with with the tube store for a couple of years now. Their pricing and shipping has been excellent. Recently, I had an issue with a tube. This was my first experience with their customer service. Their service person, Dave was superb to deal with. He very quickly sent me a pair of replacement tubes so I could get my customer fixed up as quickly as possible. Very professional, and a pleasure to work with. I am a confirmed tube store customer from here on!

I used information contained on the website to determine with a high level of confidence that I had one or both of my power tubes that had gone bad. The information was correct. Ordered two tubes and I'm back up and running. Thanks for the info and the quick shipping.

I've purchased tubes from thetubestore.com for a number of years now. They've got a great selection, great prices, and products get to the US quickly and are expertly packed. Recently I had a problem with a tube and Dave took care of it immediately and made it right. So, that means they provide great customer service as well. You can be sure I'll purchase from them again in the future.

Purchased what I thought was pairs of tubes based on the fact their price was double what is being charged by other retailers and the "matched" selection availability. When I received the tubes and addressed the misleading page and remarkably inflated price they would only return them for a 15% restocking fee and I pay return shipping. I have no problem with policies like that but the tubes were purchased under false pretenses. I had numerous purchases in the past with them but this is really an unsavory business practice. No sane person would pay twice the price for new power tubes without being misled.

The tubestore.com is the place to go for all of your vacuum tube needs. I have purchased tubes from them several times over the last couple years. They always have plenty of choices, fair prices and fast shipping! I had a recent experience when one of the tubes shipped to me was defective. I emailed tubestore.com support in the evening, and Dave got back to me bright and early that next morning. He searched his inventory and found another tube that he shipped to me that very same day! I was very impressed with the customer service I received and the friendliness of the staff! I highly recommend!

I originally had a 2 stars review, because I had issues with tubes on multiple orders. It was getting really annoying and on the last occasion, the store asked that I ship them back at my expense. While I understood at the time it was their policy, it's still extremely annoying to keep getting defective tubes and then being told to pay additional costs send them back. My intention was to not buy from them again. My review was fair and polite, although obviously negative. That being said! I was recently in a rush and had no choice but to order from them. Not ideal, but oh well. That's when "Jon" from Tube Store wrote me an email with the level of maturity of a 16 years old. It was essentially complaining about my negative review and made lame attempts at reminding me I wrote that I'd never buy from them again which I knew very well when I placed my order. If my original review would have been harsh, insulting or mean, I would understand the behavior. But seriously what the...?! What a bunch of clowns haha!
