The Tipsy Cow

Tipsy Cow is perfect for a get together with friends and family, or for a date night! I love all their appetizers. The tots and fries are delicious. I went with a group of four recently and everyone enjoyed their food. Our server was training someone while still being efficient and friendly.

Love the tipsy burger. The goat cheese curds are one of my fav curds in Madison. I appreciate that you can order the loaded fries in half orders. I enjoyed the buffalo blue cheese fries, a bit too saucy on our last visit but still ate them all! Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access. Accessible tables.

Took a detour to get here on my way home from Minnesota. Looked up "best burger joints in madison" and this place popped up. And I have to say it definitely lives up to the other reviews I've seen. I ordered the goat cheese curds, and the tipsy burger. The curds were incredibly fresh and crispy, and the burger was juicy and full of flavor. It had aged cheeses on it but it didn't make it too greasy. Its location is right downtown next to the capitol building. This place is definitely a 10/10

I ordered the po' boy, the tipsy q, and the Battered Fries Walleye sandwhich. For an appetizer we ordered the nachos. The nachos were underwhelming and the sandwiches could have used a bit more seasoning but over all they were decent. The service was fast and friendly and their outdoor seating area was great

Tried the cheese curds, fried pickles, nachos, wings and shrimp. Food was just okay, drinks average but the staff is very friendly and the inside/bathrooms are gorgeous. A good place for a drink and app after work on the square.

I made a special trip because I'd heard about the cheese curds. They did not disappoint! Food and service were both great!Food: 5/5

They were relatively busy when we went in but were seated quickly. We did have to go back to the hostess to grab a waiter for us because we got overlooked. I ordered the salmon with asparagus risotto and my mom got the burger. Both were delicious and very filling!! Food came quickly and the server was very sweet. I recommend to anyone looking for a good bite to eat.

Great food and service Edit: went to Tipsy Cow again after a long time and wow for being tipsy that Cow sure can serve up some amazing food. Service was polite, fast and consistent at the bar. I recommend anyone visiting Madison to stop in for a drink and a bite. Everything we tasted was great, Buffalo chicken sandwich, Memphis seasoned tots was very unique and surprisingly great. Grilled cheese was ooey gooey delicious and especially the fried cheese curds were amazing. This location near the capitol building was so vibrant and great place to walk around and explore the area. I don't know if they were understaffed or busy, we had to wait quite a bit of time to have someone wait on us, other than that there was nothing to complain.

My friends and I stopped in for drinks only. Looks like a cool little "triangle bar" with good atmosphere. It's just off the Capitol Square and if the food here is anything like the food at Tipsy Sun Prairie, your in luck. The service was a tad laid back but it was early before Friday rush...so I get it. But if the service is an indication of what you'd get during busy hours, I say expect a but of a wait.
