The Tile Shoppe

Honestly one of the best places to source tile from. I have already used them three times for various renovations over the past few years. I am really impressed with their high quality marble products. Having looked around Calgary, they are by far the best price, and have great selection. Their staff are lovely to work with as well.

I am an Interior Designer and my husband is a Tile Setter. I thought that the Tile Shoppe had a nice selection, and fair prices, until I had to deal with the staff and their ABSURD RETURN POLICY. They won't let you sign out a tile to see if you even like it, and if you purchase anything you can't return it, no matter what, which makes it incredibly hard to buy from them. I can understand if it was a custom order, but even stock items, if you buy it and it doesn't work for whatever reason, they will not take it back. WHY!? It makes no sense. They told me it's because they are a discount warehouse, so is "Tiles for Less" and they let me return so why can't you? I totally regret sending my client there, they recommended a couple tiles for her for her shower, so she bought enough for her whole bathroom. When I got to site they were two different thicknesses and therefore we could not use them together. I called the Tile Shop to see if they would do an exchange or refund and they said absolutely not, even though she had just bought it. It's really sad because I tried really hard to buy from them, they make it impossible and it's true, customer satisfaction is NOT their priority. Shop elsewhere, there are other discount tile shops that better deserve your business.

Such an awesome place to get your tile, not only is there a wide selection of tiles and at very reasonable prices, but the staff is also very polite and helpful. When the market slowed down, everyone was looking for a good deal and had it not been for the Tile Shoppe, with their incredibly fair prices, I can't imagine how much less work I would've been able to get. I highly recommend the Tile Shoppe, as the place where customer service, quality and fair prices meet.

These guys are great to deal with. We were referred here by a friend of ours and they definitely have the best prices in town. Home Depot and all of the other big box stores cant even compare. I highly recommend getting your tile here as the whole experience has been great. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We stopped in even though I was a bit worried from a couple of bad Google reviews and I am glad that we did. Sales rep Donna Paneda was very helpful in assisting my husband and I. To the people that buy too much tile: I would read the signs on the wall final sales - no returns. I recommend The Tile Shoppe to anyone looking for great prices and selection. In fact, we'll be back for our next project.... PS: Thanks for loading those heavy boxes in our truck!

Who gives a crap... we have your money I could repeat many of the other reviews listed here. We purchased our tile and we're happy with it but then there was a mix up with our vanity and and the color just didn't go nicely. Not their fault but the simple solution was to make a visit back to the tile shoppe as they had a the same tile just a different color. We asked if we could exchange it straight outeven though the new tile and the tile we purchased were now at a way lower price. They flat out refused and we're quite rude an out it. Again if they were down to their last few boxes, if it was discontinued or if we wanted money back I get it but the blatant I don't give a crap about you or any future buisness attitude is astonishing.

This store may promote good prices, but they do not stand behind selling damaged product. I purchased a total of 8 boxes of tile, one being a feature tile for my shower. Upon opening the feature tile, 3 of the tiles had either small chips or the paint pulled from behind the tile, stuck on the fabric. I brought them in and asked for replacement tile and needed a couple more. While I waited, Judy was trying to help me, and had two boxes brough up front and verified. One guy open them and said out loud, these are good and this is how they must have damaged them...Judy did come back to me and said they normally do not change these, as sales are final and all boxes should be checked before leaving the store...Then a few minutes later, she tells me the manager wants to check the video footage of when we picked up the tile? Wow, we are talking about $24 for 3 tiles I was asking for, out of a $300 order....again nearly 30 minutes, she tells me they need more time and may not have an answer today. They obviously just wanted me to leave at this point. I said I would purchase another box, so I could get my project done and they would never see me again. The funny thing is, I inspected the next box in front of them, and 4 out of 5 were damaged, the next box had 1 damaged. The manager refused to come talk to me and I was told again that they are still reviewing the videos and someone would call me. Again, beware of purchasing anything from this place, as they like to point at their sign that says no refunds or exchanges, which obviously means for them, not even replacing damaged/defective tiles. In my experience, every other home improvement store, gladly replaces defective/broken tiles, as it is very common to find in sealed boxes. No one has called me back at this point and again, they have gotten another $24 from me yesterday, but will never see my business again.

I'm currently trying to return an unopened box of tile that I purchased 3 weeks ago. I purchased $1200 worth of tile for a bathroom Reno and was told any unopened boxes could be returned within 30 days for a refund. I'm now being told the staff have "no authority" to issue refunds and because it's over 14 days they will not refund the purchase. Told me the salesperson probably made a mistake when telling me I opened boxes could be returned. Buyer beware!!

Not only did they have great prices and did I find exactly what I was looking for, but the ladies at the front were so honest and helpful. They were just flat out welcoming and friendly too. Highly recommend stopping by the tile shop for your home Reno needs.
