The South Shore Fish Shack

Great restaurant to eat when you're visiting Lunenbrg. The price is just right and the food is delicious. I have never seen a big serving of fish & chips. I will definitely come to this restaurant again the next time I visit Nova Scotia. The staff are very friendly as well.

Really enjoyed the food here! And the view was amazing. Have to order first then can pick your own seating. Top deck under umbrella, or lower for fully shaded or indoor seating.

Absolutely the best fish n chips I've ever had... fish was done to perfection and the batter was light, fluffy and very tasty. And the homemade tartar sauce was amazing! 10/10 no notes!

We had a great experience at The South Shore Fish Shack! We ordered the fish burger and the lobster bun—both were absolutely delicious and came with a generous serving of crispy fries. We also tried a couple of their local tap beers, and they were pretty good too!nnThe guy working there was super friendly and helpful—he gave us great recommendations, and we were glad we followed his advice. The outdoor patio is a cool spot with a beautiful view of the ocean and the iconic Bluenose II. There’s also a cozy indoor dining room, which is perfect if the weather turns cold or rainy. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Lunenburg!

Amazing fish shack to get your fried seafood fix ! I must stop at your Lunenburg stay!nFriend Clams and Scallops are like candy, coleslaws and spicy tartare sauce needs to be sold all across Canada.nOur guess had the Lobster sandwich and the fish & chips. There was nothing to complain about ! Great atmosphere with a dog friendly deck with a cold pitcher you can’t go wrong.
