This is the best restaurant in Lunenburg! It‘s usually not too busy, so no wait for tables and it‘s at a good noise level; it has a large variety of drinks and refills for pop!; and some of the best seafood I‘ve ever tasted. I recommend the Fish and Chips, the batter on the fish is some of the lightest and crispiest I‘ve ever had. Also had some of the kindest service of my life here! Special shoutout to our server Ryan for making this visit so great.
We had the scallop dinner, and it was excellent. Best food we have had in Nova Scotia so far! Not greasy or overcooked, just right and delicious!! There were quite a few people but we got a table by the window right away and we're able to watch the rain on the water and the gulls and cormorants fishing! Reasonable prices and, my husband says they have a good IPA!
Food was excellent, good service with a view of the ocean. It was rainy, but their patio looked nice too. $36 for the scallop dinner as of 2025
We ordered the fish and chips haddock fillet and the fish chowder. Both were incredibly delicious. The haddock fillet is large and deep fried. It falls appart easily, very large portions for the price. The chowder is packed with sea food, very tasteful. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Dog friendly if at the outdoor seats, the server brought my dog a water bowl without me asking :
Came here on a really busy night. The restaurant did not have enough wait staff but the service was still decent. We were however really disappointed with our meals. My wife ordered chowder and seafood dip. The chowder was very milky with 8 pieces of potato, 1 tiny shrimp and 2 tiny scallops. The seafood dip had 1 tiny shrimp and the rest was just cream cheese. For almost 40$ this was so disappointing. Even more so when the table next to us got a bowl of very hearty chowder almost no broth. My daughter's chicken fingers were overdone and my fish and chips were mostly batter, I thought that was the standard but looking at other tables I see that I got some low quality pieces.
