Great place to eat in lunenburg. We had the burger, pear and prosciutto pizza, and the seafood chowder.nnI’m not a seafood chowder person normally, but this was absolutely amazing, 5/5.nnThe burger was ok, just a regular burger, bun was a bit dry. Nothing special about it, but tasted good. The potato’s were really good though with the garlic aioli.nnThe pizza was really good. Cool combo, never had something quite like it. Little bit too much arugula on top for my liking, but my partner didn’t mind.nnThe vibe is great in here, and service was great, would definitely go back again

Great food with a wide selection which isn't all shellfish!nIt's very busy so there might be a short wait for a table, but it's worth the wait. Service is quick and the food is very good. My husband and I have had the beet salad, teriyaki salmon, ham and brie sandwich pizza and pork burger. I'd be happy to recommend all of them.nnIf you are happy to cope with the weather conditions then try to sit outside. The views are great and it's quieter.

We were lured in by the warmth exuding from the Salt Shaker on a cold and rainy November night for dinner. It was everything we hoped, inviting, warm, good vibe, great friendly staff, and delicious food. If you were thinking of getting the fish chowder, definitely get it! It's was amazing! Our son devoured the lamb shank which looked just as delicious, hoped to try a bite but it disappeared too quick. Thank-you!

We had lunch only but the food was fantastic. We finally had the Nova Scotia lox smoked salmon sandwich and it was great. Seafood soup was very generous. Propeller pilsner beer was a solid pilsner. We also bought some of the wall arts for home. Very busy spot but very enjoyable. Consider sitting at the bar and mingle.

I didn't stay here, only eating lunch here, but the people were phenomenally friendly, food was delicious, prices reasonable and atmosphere was fantastic. I can see why it's a popular spot. The location is beautiful but you will have a heck of a time finding a parking spot. When you do it's paid parking via old school meter that is fed with coins. No card. So $2 for 1 hr. Make sure you have change, which is rare these days. It's a lovely spot to walk after a hearty meal. I recommend this spot. Veggie options too so it's nice for folks that don't eat meat or fish. Service was also spot on, never having to chase anyone down. Attentive and timely. The food came out in good time as well that a party of 7 of us took about an hour from the moment we were seated to the moment we walked out. Great place.
