Visited this quaint, homey spot during a non-busy hour, and it made all the difference—peaceful atmosphere and attentive service. Tried their lobster roll, and I was impressed! The generous filling and large chunks of lobster paired beautifully with the perfectly toasted bun. The hamburger was also a highlight—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. A great experience overall, and I’d definitely recommend stopping by, especially when it’s quiet!

During our stay in Rose Bay, we drove into Lunenburg three nights in a row to have dinner. We were never disappointed. In fact, some of the best food! We had the smoked penne, chowder, tomato soup, pizza, sausage rigatoni, fish cakes and the salmon risotto. Small and quaint! Great food- great atmosphere! We loved the Salt Shaker Deli!

Recommended by a relative, and Salt Shaker lived up to expectations! For lunch, we had their Lobster Roll $28 and added on potato wedges $6 and a cup of chowder $10. The lobster was abundant and filled out the toasted homemade roll. Very hearty meal! The cup of seafood chowder was creamy and had a good variety of seafood shrimp, scallops, clams and vegetables. We can see why it's won local awards for best chowder! Service was friendly. Quite pricey for a lunch, but we found eateries in the area to be comparable. It's a town that relies on tourists, but the quality of food is there!

We had a great dinner of the scallops linguine, shrimp Pad Thai noodles, cheesy crab dip, and beet salad. Our server, Ben, was attentive, friendly, efficient, timely, and professional. The restaurant's rustic decor was warm and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Highly recommended!
