the salon by Body & Soul

I went to this salon before I got married and moved away for about a year or two. My stylist no longer works there and when she was there I always received great service. However, I attempted to return yesterday while visiting my parents and it appears the quality of service has taken a massive nosedive. I had an appointment at 1pm and was called to come early as the stylist was available. I drove across town and showed up only to be told by the receptionist that there had been a mistake and another client had arrived but wasn't taken in and now my appointment wouldn't be able to begin until at least 1:15. So, now that I had arrived early I would be having at least a 45 minute wait and a LATER appointment than expected. She said I could wait and I said no I would be leaving and I would not be rescheduling. I don't have all day to sit around and wait at this salons whim whether the problem is a stylist or an incompetent front desk employee. The manager called later to apologize and try to get me to make another appointment but I was not interested. I don't have endless time to rearrange my life around the staff at the salon, and at this point I would have felt awkward and uncomfortable and unable to enjoy the experience. So now this salon has lost my mom and I as clients. Luckily there are plenty of other quality salon/spas in the area. My advice is the beautiful aesthetic of salon itself that drove us to come to body and soul is not worth the unacceptable quality of service received.

FAV!!! Get in and get a massage from Sasha or your hair and nails done by Tori or Jessica. Can't go wrong with this salon!

Recently had shellac. Sloppy job with areas of almost every nail missed. And it chipped the first day. Sadly disappointed. Have been to the other location and love it.

I had to stand in line just over 10 minutes to check in because both women at the counter were busy with other customers. I had a 60 minute hot stone massage with Ricki and it was AMAZING. I loved that there was a relaxation room because so few places have one. Huge bonus. I would go back in a heartbeat.
