The Saddle Restaurant and Lounge

Never stop here!! I came in specifically because I wanted some prime rib. Look at the photo of what I was given for $26!! Nuts! I’ve had beef jerky with more juice. Prime rib should never have a crunch. I ordered medium rare but it was so thin I don’t know how it could be anything but over cooked. Everyone at my table was disappointed with the food and service. Skip this place.

On our way home from Idaho had to stop and try the food. Sooooo happy we did! Service was outstanding! My biscuits and gravy were amazing. The biscuits are so fluffy!! And Gravy was yummy. Will definitely be stopping here when we pass through again!!

If you’re looking for a less expensive ribeye than some of the others in Pendleton, this is your spot. I was not disappointed in the cut of meat or how it was cooked. Served with tasty fries. Friendly service too.

There are a lot of diner restaurants in Pendleton, but Saddles really set itself apart. From a really friendly hello when we came in to immediately getting seated, we were off to a good start. Quick service in getting our drinks and food out was quite appreciated.nnAnd then, of course, the food itself. We came for lunch, but split pretty evenly between their all day breakfast and lunch food. Breakfast was delicious between one person who loved their steak and eggs and others who got their combos of eggs, bacon, and french toast yum!. Lunches were huge portions - just always get the tater tots which were fantastic over their crinkle fries which were very bland.

They were so kind to us. Breakfast food was delicious. Got the veggie omelet, biscuits and gravy, and French toast, all of which were excellent. Coffee was fresh and strong and they hit us with generous frequent warm ups. I was so hungry and the food was so good I forgot to take a photo. Prices were excellent too. Thank you!
