My girlfriend and I always go to the Rec Room on date nights! Great food, fun games and they even have some pretty awesome prizes at the end ! Even for adults we went yesterday and had the best loaded nachos ! Every chip had loads of good stuff on it! Not like most restaurants that have a few toppings and the rest are plain chips. We also ordered the chicken tacos which were delicious! Our server can’t remember his name was awesome as well. After we finished eating we played our favourite games and got two yeti mugs with out winnings!! Can’t wait to be back.
Amateur night at The Rec Room. They offered to sit my family right behind the host at the entrance …why?…the whole restaurant was empty. Asked to sit deeper in and after a few minute huddle the staff finally agreed. Messed up the sides on the orders. Kid’s Caesars was heavy on the garlic. Kids menu included dessert but we weren’t offered it. They didn’t offer me the gaming special either. It was like I was in another dimension. I don’t usually say this but I regretted coming here. EDIT staff member ERIC in the game floor turned out experience around by being welcoming, accommodating to our needs and questions, always checking on us. Super positive guy.
My coworkers and I had a wellness gathering and we loved that it was not that busy. The service was great. Although I was attacked by the front door as it slammed my leg so violently that it knocked my shoe off : I did mention to the front desk people to put a note on the door and as I was telling him this another person walked through the door and was wacked as they were walking through. My group had a great lunch, our meals were flavorful and enjoyable. I ordered a lava cake for dessert and my only suggestion for this dessert is not to over cook it. My lava cake had no lava and it was dry on the outside: We continued on to play bowling and enjoyed ourselves.
Lots of games and entertainment for families with kids, or even for adults. Arcade games, bowling, etc on offer. Can be pretty busy/noisy at times. Food is decent and drinks are available. Fun way to spend two or three hours.
Such a great space for families to eat have fun and spend some quality time together. There's so many great video games to play not to mention ax throwing, bowling and intense VR experiences. Sometimes service can be a little slow in the bar but overall such a great place to goFood: 4/5
The food was the greatest, the fish and chips were greasy and soggy. The egg on the lumber jack burger was very under cooked, and I’m pretty sure my daughters bacon was deep fried. For the price, corners should not be cut. The play was awesome though. We all have such an amazing time.
What I love most about the Rec Room is the fact that kids and adults can both enjoy this space. There are tons or arcade games and activities. The place is sectioned off well where can even have a private function. The drinks accommodate people who like beers or mixed drinks, thr food is pretty decent burgers, fries, wings and lots of options you can share.
A big popular place that's hardly never not busy. With younger kids it is better to go during the day. We went at mid day on a weekend and it started to get very busy around 4pm. Before then there was no line ups for games or bowling. Credits charge are high in my opinion for lotto type of games but very reasonable for experience/fun type of games. Service overall is great, some confusion with how and where to place food/drink orders but that's because I was a noob.
Excellent service but food wasn’t great to be honest. Both the dishes we tried were below average. The server, the tall white man with glasses and beard, was very very friendly and professional. Also, we were accompanied by a couple flies which really can’t be ignored
Super fun! The games are reasonable in price so if you are just going to the arcade section it's a great date night. The food is very expensive though unfortunately for what you get. Just eat before and you'll have lots of fun!
