I have lived in the Pinnacle for more than five years. Good location for river valley circumstances. Convenient for everywhere. The administration office react quickly after the Hazelview take the management. Utilities include electricity, I know some new buildings in oliver community need tenants to cover by themselves. Good underground parking and good price at downtown apartments.I just take the balance with economy and convenience.
You're paying way too much for a pretty average unit, but thats landlords for ya. The "renovations" are pretty shoddy, all my cupboards are crooked and the screw points are all cracking, the floors are uneven and the paint is bubbling. None of the windows or doors properly seal. They're renovating units constantly so there's little quiet time during the day. The location is 10/10, can't be beat, the neighbourhood is really lovely with lots of amenities. If the idea of seeing someone experiencing homelessness just scares you to your core then like I don't know, go live in the suburbs. If you need a place to live you could do a lot worse, but they could also do a lot better so.
We live 4 month from 12 month with lots of cockroaches. The manager tried several times to fix it but he couldn't .We were located on 15th floor. Be careful of 15th floor. First make sure it is pest controlled completely.
I have been here for a month and a half now and I really love the neighborhood here. It's quite, a Safeway store is close to the building, less than a minute access to bus stations and a nice view of the river. About the building, it's cozy, sometimes you see some ants around but that is not a big problem. Staffs are friendly. To be honest the gym is not good to me, the equipment are old, there is no enough weights and it's a closed space. The appliances are new. And it's a pet friendly environment and you see a lot of dogs around.
This building is nice.. but it’s very annoying that there is a water shut down for a day in every two or three weeks..I shifted from my old apartment to this so I can get better facilities not to deal with problems like these.. I must say in my old rental place I never ever had to deal with water problems…it becomes very inconvenient in case of emergency due to water shut down..
We Rented apartment at The Pinnacle, Edmonton and our whole experience is mostly Positive so far. We requested for a move in a day prior than originally planned Date and it was accepted. We were welcomed with a warm move in Gift and we were pleased with the neatness and cleanliness of our Apartment. Couple of small maintenance issues were addressed and fixed with sense of urgency. Only temporary shortfalls are construction noise and water shut-offs, but residents were well informed in advance.Throughout our stay Maintenance Team has been very helpful and supportive to make our stay comfortable. Management is polite, respectful and much nicer than our previous downtown experiences. Thank you everyone for making our stay comfortable . Highly recommend.
One of the best locations with spectacular view and nice neighbors . The gym is open 24/7 and always being cleaned. the apartments have been renovated and all the appliances are new and beautiful! The management responses fast and they are very friendly. I loved it there.
While living at the Pinnacle, my roommate and I experienced multiple financials issues from the management our rent would be the incorrect amount. The water gets shut off in the building once a month as well, and this leaves you with no water that day for up to 8 hours. I left the pinnacle at the beginning of August, meaning it has been 21 days since i’ve moved out and I still have no received my security deposit back which they promised me would be returned in 10 days or less. Overall, unprofessional management with overpriced suites and an inconsistent style of rent payment. The only plus side is the view, which may be blocked by new downtown construction halfway through your lease.
The only good thing about this place is it's location. The noise and smell is unbearable, the maintenance and security minimal, and the care for tenants non-existent apart from your rent. They closed the garbage disposal so now everyone needs to carry their trash down in the elevator; making said high traffic elevators filthy on a daily basis. There are constant pluming and electrical problems with hardly any notice and it took TWO WEEK to fix an E26 bulb screw fixture in my bathroom. Don't bother with this place. You deserve better than this dump.
Lived there for a year. Would give it a 6/10. Dope and cigarette smell mentioned by other's is accurate.Rules are not enforced. The suite was nice and freshly renovated. Jasper ave is surprisingly noisy despite the height. Get the underground parking, not the above ground. It might be cheaper, but there are a lot of sketchy individuals. Parent company that owns the building is a bunch of jerks. They were looking for things to ding us for on move out and finally were able to squeeze $100 off our security deposit for "dusty base board". When I offered to wipe them down really quick while we were doing checkout she said "Well, I wrote it down already so I can't take it off". Additionally, they will raise your rent regardless of the market once your lease term is up. They bet on people paying for the convenience of not having to move. They always price above market too. You can find better landlords for cheaper somewhere else.
