Rossdale House

We recently moved into an apartment in Rossdale House , Rico and Nina were really helpful in smooth transition. It has been good so far. The building is well maintained and take care of. Any issues reported are well addressed and taken care of. Happy to be here.

I thought this was gonna be a long term rental. Sadly i was mistaken. When we moved in all was fine. Until the new building manger came in. Then louder Tenants came. People who party above us. Alway smoking on the balcony. We could never used the facility in the evenings due to People either having baths in hottub or sexual activities going on in the Sona and game room. Constant fire alarms being pulled. What was the 2 turning points. Was being blamed for a chair being thrown off the balcony. At several hours after midnight. We weren't even in the province when this happened. We let the building manger in. I have no clue what his name was or the ladies name. Showed him we have all our chairs. Stated we weren't home "we aren't blaming you. But people are saying it was from this unit". Then we got noise complaints that all hours of the night. Of stomping and jumping. When we are alseep by ten pm. When we went and spoke to them about it.. we were then reminded that they had already spoken to us about the chair being thrown off the balcony. Second part was our rent going from 1269 to 1600 a month. That didn't include parking yet. I'd recommend other midwest buildings just not this one Unfortunatly. Wish this could of been a good experience for us.

There is a COCKROACH problem in this building. 2 years ago I saw them in my unit. Management paid for the fumigation and inspection. The other units on the floor however were not cleaned And from my knowledge not notified of the infestation. The cockroaches have returned this month. I cannot justify giving a higher review on Google if cleanliness is an issue in the building. In addition to this the laundry cost is increasing to $2.50 minimum per load.

Finding a new home is not easy, been searching for months from South side area and finally found one, not from the South but Downtown and good thing I followed that feeling when you entered a new place for the first time. When I first came to this building for showing, I felt at home, lobby was clean, I like the sound of the water from the wall fountain, the hallways are not narrow and dark, people from the rental office were too accommodating and friendly. The units have big windows and bright, it brings a good vibes. After working out of town for 20 days, I went home last night and was amazed with the view from my bedroom and living room. The unit is very quiet and I really had a good sleep. The rooms are really big and as well as the closets. The river valley’s view is very relaxing, it really feels HOME. I would highly recommend this building to my friends.

It has been really good since we moved here. The rooms are spacious, The Staff is very nice and responsive. They have made our move to Edmonton very smooth.

Been living in this building for 6 months first in a 2 bedroom then in a 1 bedroom. The building is very nicely updated and organized for its age, all the rooms are very spacious and include ample storage space all around the unit. Every unit has excellent sound proofing and it’s very easy to get a good night sleep without hearing all the downtown noise. Balconies offer a spectacular view for the location, kitchens and bathrooms include everything needed for storage and organization. Everyone living here is very friendly, management can be a pain sometimes and it can be very hard to work with them unless your having an emergency, overall the price asked for the rooms is slightly high for the year of the building but the amenities and cheap parking options make up for it. If you plan on moving in here you will be presented with quality and semi luxurious living :

Loudest neighbors ever. Each person that moves in seems to be loud as hell. Update: Someone from the office did speak to the tenants and so far they have quieted down. So the plus side is that something was done, definitely worth a visit downstairs to anyone that also experiences this here.

I have lived in Rossdale house now for 1.5 years and I must say I love it! Spacious suites nice large balcony YES and gym on the main floor. Management and Maintenance have been very responsive to all my questions , Youmna is an asset to this team. On many occasions she has proactively reached out to inform me of upcoming maintenance. As my work takes me out of town frequently, she has assisted me in insuring any incoming packages would be received and kept me updated on their status. Overall a great community in this building. Thank you guys! I would recommend Rossdale House your next home....keep providing exceptional customer service.

We feel disappointed and at a loss. This building is not being managed properly at all. Gym regulations are being broken constantly. Our mail has been held at another location for weeks and we were not notified. Fire alarms are being pulled. Water is shut down once a month. Whenever we try to be heard, we are brushed off. We love our apartment and don't want to leave but this is becoming ridiculous. When your made to feel like your a burden for voicing your concerns, it's hard to feel at home. Update: Thank you for the call, but I am not being hostile. This is my very real experience. I did not cuss, raise my voice, call anyone any names. You may think it's inaccurate but this is what life has been like here for the past year. It was lovely to listen to you talk but perhaps you should take tenant complaints more seriously instead of weakly attempting to gaslight them. I'll happily replace this with a more favourable review when hopefully the building improves.

Best place I've rented in a good while. Living spaces are updated and maintenance is always ready to help and does a good job each time. I feel safer than in any of the other places I've rented at and its CLEAN and presentable. Hands down the best resident manager I've had in all my renting history is Youmna; She was super helpful when I came for a viewing patiently answering all my questions and showing me multiple suit options and continues to be helpful throughout my time renting at Rossdale. She has been on top of answering any of my further questions as well as taking care of any issues that I have or else pointing me in the right direction with who to call, very informative and kind will always say hello and ask how I'm doing when I see her around the building. I really do appreciate her because it is so refreshing to have kind-hearted and competent management staff.
