I have contemplated this review since my visit Aug 27th.. I feel it is necessary . I went to this restaurant for Taco Tuesday we ordered the taco platter. The decor is very nice, we enjoyed our drinks, and our food arrived. I had beef and shrimp taco which were lovely. I had 2 bites of the Chicken taco on my 3rd bite both me and my date heard a loud crunch for a second I thought my tooth blew apart until I spit out something hard that turned out to be glass. It was a good sized chunk of glass I ultimately crushed biting into it. I immediately spit it out and my date called the waitress over. I wasn’t cut thankfully but quite possibly may have swallowed some glass. The restaurant covered the bill and the manager called the owners about it. They took my name and number and said they would be follow up with me in the next 2 days…I never heard from them. It’s quite a shocking experience biting into a chunk of glass.. shows a disregard for customers not to atleast follow up, that’s my opinion.nnIn response to your responses: I was asked for my phone number and given a piece of paper I wrote my name and number down and was told someone would be in touch over text couple days…I want to make it clear I was served glass in a taco from your restaurant period! No mystery there! Furthermore I immediately went to the bathroom to make sure I was not bleeding and when I returned the food was gone or I would have taken a picture!
The food here is just utterly wonderful! I haven't been to the main location yet, but a friend highly reccomended this place, so I had to come. I really adore Mexican cuisine, and the food here is just so flavourful and highly enjoyable. The tacos were just perfection, and I got greedy and ordered a flatbread too. Just be aware the flatbread is much larger than expected! The service was super friendly and helpful! The margaritas were probably the highlight of my night! Also there is some awesome artwork in the bathrooms! ;D Update! There are now some new items on the menu!
Absolutely delicious and well worth the try. Shrimp taco, burger & taco app. Really guys, this was a really good place to eat. Made in house taco chips.
This is my favourite restaurant. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and the staff are all very friendly and CARLOS who owns the business treats all of his customers as family. Hector is my favourite bartender here, and he always treats us well, and I like His charisma. The food is absolutely astonishing and I love the five meat on the menu. Check it out and you won’t regret it. Absolutely everything on this menu is amazing and authentic. CARLOS comes from Mexico and he only hires the best staff. Why go to Mexico for their food when you can come here and enjoy Mexican food at its finest. I can’t wait to have Hector service again because I love seeing his charismatic style smile and persona. Good job, Carlos. Every time I see the mobile kitchen floating around Sherwood Park I always make a special effort to stop in to enjoy the authentic Mexican cuisine
Everything is so flavorful and fresh, this is one of my all time favorite places to get a margarita. I had the coconut margarita tonight with the chicken adoboa and their in-house chips, salads, and guacamole.n.nI forget the servers name but she was SO friendly and had such a nice energy about her.
