We had a very rough week with a horrendous accident and a death. We took the opportunity to use our gift certificate to enjoy dinner out so we didn't have to cook. Nobody knew anything about our situation, but it felt like we were treated with kid gloves. So that makes me think that this is how the staff treats everybody, with special care. A special mention to Jody, who was extremely wonderful, caring, kind, and considerate. She made us feel at home. Thank you so much for everything. !
We visited the keg tonight with the server Christa. The finest service we have ever encountered! She was truly outstanding!!! The meal was scrumptious, and the steaks were grilled perfectly! We ordered the top sirloin and the crab and lobster steak. Delicious cuisine! Christa provided us with a complimentary slice of ice cream cake to celebrate our anniversary. So incredibly kind of her! It was the most delicious ice cream cake we've ever tasted!! It was incredibly tasty! I strongly suggest this place. We will certainly be returning! The best service & food we’ve ever received at any keg!
Disappointed Twice at The Keg Sherwood ParknnI went to The Keg in Sherwood Park today with my 9-year-old son to celebrate an early Thanksgiving. I ordered a medium-rare steak, but it came out well done. If you’ve been to The Keg, you know that you pay good money expecting quality food and a great experience. They take their time cooking because they’re supposed to deliver perfection, but this time, it was far from that.nnThe server offered to replace my steak, but by then my son was already eating his meal, and they explained that it would take some time to prepare a new one. I decided not to wait. Unfortunately, that meant I ended up paying for a steak I didn't enjoy.nnWhen you come to The Keg, you expect your steak to be cooked as requested and to have a great dining experience. Today, I got neither. To make things worse, this is the second time this has happened at this same location, the last time, about a year ago, my steak was also overcooked.nnI usually don’t write Google reviews, but I felt it was important to share this so others don’t waste their time and money. Sadly, I won’t be visiting this location again, and I cannot recommend it.
Great place for special dinners or dinners in general. My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary there and it was great. Jason was our server and let me say, he is top tier hospitality! Definitely recommend this place and ask for Jason’s section. Thank you!
Welcoming experience from the moment that we arrived. Jamie was our server and she provided exceptional service. Drinks, entrees and desserts were all well presented and tasted delicious.
