The Old Apothecary

A little bit on the pricey side, but here you get what you pay for. The place is quirky and cool, excellent bread and pastries that are baked in-store so it smells fantastic all the time. Excellent coffee and espresso, but remember this is mainly a bakery. If bringing guests from out of town, after a heavy dinner the night before, there's nothing like a light brunch here consisting of a savoury sunny-side-up turnover and a large americano. Then, a crazy pastry of your choice.

I don’t know how but every piece of food that comes out of this place is like magical Disney food. Holy moly is it good. Such nice people too.

The berliner was so good! Taste like home. I really like the cups, but I need salty options for breakfast

The chocolatine is to die for, like... it's the best chocolatine I ever ate in my life (FIVE STARS all the way!). Unfortunately, the price was extremely high, around $4,50, which I honestly found ridiculous (ONE star only). I'll go back for sure to taste other products. The bread in the window looked amazing.

Wow, I had such a great sour dough! Yum yum yum!!! If you ever wonder your way into this adorable bakery be sure to use their eccentric washroom! I took the nicest loaf after eating the nicest loaf! 😉
