The Music Hall Concert Theatre

Saw Scott Helman perform here, it was a great show but It was standing room only with only a few tables and seats on the left and right sides.

Amazing venue! There's nothing like it for us out in Durham for live music so this is amazing!!! Mixed drinks ranging in price from $5.50 to $7 and beers maxing out at $7.50 this place is a great time!!!! Great sounds, great venue, great staff, just pretty freaking great! There's food on-site too which is absolutely amazing. Nothing is really open late night in downtown Oshawa so it's super convenient to get everything in one place. Vibes kitchen gives you just that, great vibes! He's always coming up with something different so it's nice to come in and have the option of the usual hot dog / sausage or try something different like back bacon, jerk chicken, pulled pork sandwiches, and everything in between.

Super cool venue to watch or play a live show. Parking and load in was super easy, Mr and Mrs. owner I forget their names were very kind and friendly. They were accommodating to all the bands and really cared about their well-being. The stage was nice and big and the house p.a. was awesome. We sounded better than we usually do seeing as how we play places like the Atria down the street. Overall great place with great people running it. Refreshing to see a place where live music is still being celebrated so close to home.

Was here for Bunny Hop Oshawa 2017. Had a great experience up until the music hall. The venue sound base was good but the bartenders were so rude, my friend got kicked out for sitting on one of the couches and closing his eyes because that meant he was too drunk anyone who has been to the music hall knows the couches are so comfortable and the coat check lady who claimed herself to also be the owner was one of the rudest women I've ever encountered in my life. If she was actually the owner which I highly doubt, she has to learn the meaning of good business. Was going to go back until I met her, don't recommend. If you don't care about staff though it's a good venue.

I went this past Friday for 12 bars. The door lady was extremely rude and unpleasant to deal with. I could not believe it. How do you put someone who has poor people skills as a customer service agent at the front door? Bartenders were great. The DJ's music was not great.

Environment was great, had a blast and staff at bar awesome. Security big guy as you enter, very disrespectful and they didnt even do there jobs correctly. Unless they invest with properly trained security, with customer service and safety,unfortunately i will never return because the security made me felt disrespected and unsafe for me and my guests with me.

Been going to this place for the emo nights they have. Great atmosphere and staff! The security are actually good people the bartenders are always attentive! My other half lost her wallet and the management was extremely helpful and reassuring... wallet is found now and I am happy to share that they care ! Five

Don't take any sort of medicine while on this property. If you are seen doing so, you WILL be kicked out because some of the staff that works here the female, blond bouncer with a ponytail, about five ft six in hight can't tell the difference between an allergy pill and cocaine. Seriously this is a common occurrence. Take medicine with caution while at the Oshawa Music Hall. You have been warned Update: I left a message on there answering machine with a message saying "Hi, there was a serious incident at the music hall last night and it is important that I speak to the owner to discuss it. If you could please get back to me at phone # that would be great. Thanks" in response to this message, they blocked my phone number. Response: Lies, Lies, and more lies from the owner. An owner who feels the need to defend themselves from every negative review they get because they don't have enough faith in the business to speak for itself. Sad and embarrassing. Yet quite funny. ~

It is upsetting that so many great artists choose to play this venue. Oshawa needs a better small-medium sized concert venue. Everything about this venue always leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. The location is awful, the layout makes for poor sound quality and limited visibility of the stage. During my last visit, I was forced to pay and coat check my sweater...It is winter time and they wouldn’t let me wear my sweater because it looked like a coat. I told the person that it was all I had to wear over my t-shirt and he basically laughed and called me stupid.

Extremely disappointed. Bought tickets for Yukon Blonde that I was really excited for but was not let in for "being too drunk". I do admit, I had some to drink before the concert and accidentally had a little stumble walking up to the bouncer, but I was at a moderate and safe level of being drunk, not hammered or blacked out anything. What gives him the authority to tell me how I am feeling, he had just judged me from a small stumble which could have happened sober as well. The bouncer continuously refused to let me in, even though I had tickets. I even told him I would not buy any drinks inside if he was worried about that. To that he responded "that's exactly why im not letting you in". This completely baffled me. Im obligated to buy drinks inside the venue and can't be let in even though I have tickets because im not purchasing alcohol there??? Other concert goers beware of this if you decide to drink beforehand.
