Really nice shop in the heart of NDG. Opened two weeks ago. Really surprised to see the other comments here. We had a really pleasant experience. Lots of nice items and seating outside.

A nice community store with a fair selection and kind service. However, some of their prices are inexcusably high. I now go elsewhere.

This place was so cute. They are small however, so products are very limited. The reason I gave 5 stars was the price for the organic veggies and fruits. Most are by units, so you pay a lot less than by weight.

Their ownership changed! Disregard reviews from before 2020. The staff now are the nicest people. They're always suggesting things, super patient, and offering me to try stuff. I discovered really cool new things, such as the kiwi-berry, a fruit I did not know existed in this world. Yum.

Very happy with this new shop in the neighbourhood. The bulk portion has many options including coffee, numerous Oils olive, sesame ect, vinegars white, balsamic, ect, Oneka shampoo & conditioner, soap bars, Kombucha yes refill style kombucha too. The staff is very nice and helpful. I asked if they are buying from local farms to stock their fresh produce and most of it yes is local. Nice addition to the Deeg!

Adding to Review: In response to the owner’s comment back: She clearly did not pull up that hat from over her eyes to even read my review properly. I am talking about her! Anna! She blames an employee after I said all her employees are excellent and she should thank them. She also said an employee was under the weather, how does she know what day I came in? Made me laugh, just wanted to share! I do visit this location on a weekly basis since it’s the closest organic place. But if I had other options I wouldn’t choose this place. Owner is really rude. Not friendly. If she would like her store to continue she should probably take her baseball hat off and start engaging with her customers who pay a lot. She almost treats you like you are burden for being there. However the regular staff has always been very friendly helpful and kind so I keep returning. The owner should thank them.

I go here for most of the special items that I can't find elsewhere such as: local raw honey, good quality coconut oils and nut butters, fair trade organic chocolate and coffee, as well as environmentally friendly cleaning products you can also get refills on your soap bottles here, great way to reduce plastic! The staff are also super friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Overpriced items, really bad costumer service. Bought a defective item facial cream with off texture and erased lot number, and no expiration date and they refused to refund or exchange it, claiming that I had to communicate with the company directly and stating that their policy was final sale on everything. Owner was extremely condescending and hung up on me. I am absolutely disgusted and regret my decision of encouraging a small business instead of Amazon.

Came into to the store to buy slipery elm bark which normally turns into a gel like texture to coat the mucosal lining in the GI track. Bought the brand Organic Traditions because they were out of my usual brand "Clef des Champs". I was a bit worried, because this product is the only thing that helps sooth my Crohn's flare. I was ASSURED by the employee that it's the same product. Well it wasn't. It sank like sand to the bottom of the bottle when mixed in. I politely called 4 times in a week to speak with Anna, and she was "unavailable" every time. Left a message and never got a call back. After reading ALL the bad reviews it's very clear, Anna has a strict no refund or exchange policy. Obviously she does not stand by her products or employee's knowledge on the products themselves. Anna can keep my $40, I'll be shopping at Tau. I hear they'll be opening one on Monkland village soon. Looking forward to seeing her keep her head above water when they do. S.

I walked in looking for Organic Acai Purée and was pointed in the right direction by knowledgable staff within seconds! They had everything I was looking for and even a few new things I never even knew about! Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Anna!!
