Disappointing. I had the Pork Belly popsicles. Which were nothing but seared pork belly in a sweet sauce. Not bad, but not great. My main was Beef Wellington, sort of. I have never had a beef Wellington that wasn’t wrapped in a puff pastry and didn’t have a pate. This was a tenderloin laid out on an over cooked piece of puff pastry that had what looked like spinach on it, which was also over cooked because all of the flavor was gone. The meat was tough, not a very good piece of tenderloin, maybe they are having a hard time getting good pieces of meat, but the prices didn’t reflect that. The ambiance was nice the wait staff was great, I sat at the bar. They had a really good jazz band that played some Steely Dan covers, which in and of itself is a feet.
To start I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff pleasant and efficient. I started with the soup of the day, cauliflower cheddar which was very good. House salad next, plentiful and fresh greens. A basket of a nice bread selections was also brought to our table served with a maple butter. I chose the popover which was very tender and tasty. Unfortunately my entire’ was a bit of a disappointment. The coconut sole served over caramelized onion risotto. Portions plentiful however the sole was over cooked and dry and the risotto pasty. My friend ordered the steal au poivre medium rare. That too was over cooked and dry. She didn’t care for the pepper crust but couldn’t really comment on that since she only tried it based on our servers recommendation. All and all an enjoyable evening but next time I will stick to the appetizers, soups and salads selection.
Great seasonal mixed drinks and the food is awesome! I've been a few times and every time it's been fantastic. I loved the Bolognese and their Espresso Martini with homemade Irish Cream was amazing!
Went last night for the first time in many years. Waited a bit for the drinks and food but there was also 3 functions. Taking this into consideration, the waitress was friendly and apologetic that the service was a bit slow but overall, the food and drinks were "A's". We weren't in a hurry so it was nice that we weren't rushed.
My wife and I went a few weeks back after not going since early fall. Covid played a part of that time away but the real reason for me is that the food is just not that good. I continually find myself regretting the decision of convenience restaurant is only 3 miles from the house over quality. It wasn’t always this way but it has been for awhile. I think for the price there are much better places to go, after all that is why you go out to dinner.
We sat down for dinner at 7:45 and were not served until after 9pm. There were multiple things we ordered that we never got. Had to ask for my beverage 3 times! Live music was decent.... just a bit too loud.
Very good, fun place to go with friends. Menu options have changed a bit.
Waited an hour for a burger. But it did taste good and the beer selection is decent.
Always a great meal and never disappointed in the staff.
Great food, service and music!
