I found this place on a whim when my husband and I wanted to have dinner on the North side after work we live in South Seattle and work up north. I didn't know I would need a reservation, but we managed to get some seats at the bar; a couple happened to be leaving moments after I arrived. I could tell the bartender was well-seasoned, and knew I could order a Tom Collins without being questioned. My husband ordered a virgin drink 'reminiscent of a Rum cocktail', and received a very nice, minty green drink in a Martini glass. The Bartender was very social, funny, and told us about all the nice details of the food being made in-house. All the food was amazing. He got excited when we ordered 2 desserts! We would definitely love to come back.
My husband and I went out in late Jan for a date night. The Loft had a cozy, vibrant atmosphere with excellent mood lighting. The drinks were amazing, with good alcohol pairings and nice flavor profiles. We got dessert, which was good, not too sweet.Food: 4/5
I went here before kids, but tonight I went on a mom and daughter date w/ my pre-teen. We had a great time! The black crystal chandeliers and dark lighting totally impressed her, as did the bartender who made her two very tasty virgin mocktails and made sure to check in on her throughout our dinner. The food sizes were huge!! I can definitely eat, but we had ALOT of leftovers between the two of us- which made the prices seem very reasonable. The salmon plate was great I really liked the heirloom grains- never had them before ! My daughter got the kobe mushroom burger - it was huge, and she devoured it with relish! We split the fried artichoke hearts to start- its the biggest appetizer I've ever got. Otherwise, our waitress was all smiles and very attentive. The other customers were sweet, too. The atmosphere really felt welcoming despite being the only one there with a kid. They got us in-despite not having reservations- with a 5-10 min wait. Kid-friendliness: Read my review. My daughter was thrilled, and everyone was so sweet to her! I'd wait for kids to be past kiddy chairs though. It's more of an older kid scene or at least a kid who's used to- and comfortable being around mostly adults.
Came on a whim while walking downtown Edmonds with a friend. The staff was incredibly fun, attentive, and knowledgeable about food and drink pairings. Our bartender was infectiously funny, personable, and very entertaining. Food = delicious. Drinks = delectable. Such a wonderful experience all around. Will definitely be coming again. Thanks, Daddy. I mean, Denny.
The Loft Kitchen is a great restaurant that has it all. Great food, drinks and service. It’s a real gem in the heart of Edmonds.
The food was good and the place is excellent, but I wish the service was little more friendly. I understand we all have bad and good days, but been mean to a costume it’s not gonna solve a problem.
Amazing service and staff! Goes out of their way to make guest feel special. Truly a great experience. They sure keep it simple yet delicious and extraordinary flavors to their food! Nice and cosy ambience with superb knowledge of guest services! Definitely coming back with friends and family!!
We had reservations at another restaurant for my birthday at a different restaurant but when we arrived they were unexpectedly closed. So with 7 people and no reservation luckily on a weekday we walked into the Loft and they saved the day! The staff is amazing and accommodating. Highly recommend the fried artichokes and seafood risotto! Everyone had a wonderful time
Cocktails were amazing!!! Bar tender was a delight to watch as he took great pride in his craft!Food: 4/5
Tiny place but good food and great service. A bit spendy but made for a delightful night out. We enjoyed it so much we came back for drinks after a show. Will definitely keep it on the list for next time.
