Historic Pub on the mighty Columbia river. Home of BC Craft Beer, with names like Spinnakers, Cannery, Nelson, Mt. Begbie, Crannog and Fernie beers rotating thru our 12 taps. From stouts, lagers, dark, light beers something for every palate.

Excellent pub in an unlikely location. They have a dozen draft beers from a variety of micro breweries. There’s something for everyone. The food menu is extensive and the food is tasty. The bartender is friendly and provides great service. This could be one of my locals if I lived nearby. A great place to stop after a day on the river.

I've gone to the Lions Head a couple of times. Each time it is good beer and pretty good service. Over all its a neat little place.

The Lion's Head offers the best collection of BC craft beers on tap in the West Kootenays. With 12 taps and a revolving selection  means that you will likely be able to try something new every time you go! The food is pretty good. Some items on the menu sound better than what you get so I would highly reccomend to ask your server for their reccomendation on dishes. Cool vibe, amazing service, great beer, and the food that is usually pretty good! 1 star deduction for the time when a coworker of mine and I ordered the same dish and sides, he got a rocking loaded baked potatoe and my potato was smaller than an egg. Lol the helpful staff did bring me a better tater after comparing tater size. Haha!

Love this place. Old European charm with a great selection of classic-meets-local food & drinks. Cozy and quaint though Iarge enough to accomodate big parties too.
