I recently popped in for a bite to eat at Finley's Bar and Grill in Nelson, BC, and it was an all-around fantastic experience. The food was top-notch— I had the Finley Burger, which was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. For dessert, I tried the sticky toffee pudding, and it did not disappoint; it was the perfect sweet ending to a great meal.nnI dined on the patio, which offered stunning views that added to the overall experience. I absolutely love Finley’s local bar. The food is fantastic, the customer service is top-notch, and the location is perfect. With live music, a beautiful patio offering breathtaking views, and management that genuinely cares for both their staff and customers, this place is truly special. They're constantly finding ways to not only enhance their restaurants and bar but also to give back to the community. I would 100% recommend Finley’s!

Stopped in for a bite to eat and a drink mid-week.nThe food was good, portion size was solid and the wait staff were pleasant.nnIf the manager reads this, you need to step it up. Get on your staff about cleanliness, prep work, changing out condiments and keeping fresh drink garnishes and supplies.nnThe patio reeked of days old, stale spilled beer.nI could smell urine from the men's toilet while I was standing at the bar.nHad a Caesar...the rim was really stale and the garnishes were old. They tasted like bar.nAsked for condiments with the food...the ketchup was old and sour.nAgain, this was mid-week and fairly early so the placed wasn't slammed.

Nice pub and grill.nWhat sets these people apart is the quality friendly service. The waitress and owner. Hats off to them actually. They weren't bothersome as I was often caught in conversation with my dinner guest.nnThe fare was nice, and the dessert was huge. It wasn't anything to write home about, but filled the gut. I don't care for places that charge 20$ for a sandwich, skimp on the fries, charge 5$ for a pop, and leave you hungry when you're done paying. Even more annoying cause I ain't no big guy.
