Came for Wing Wednesdays in the summer. It was good local atmosphere with a working class feel to it. Breathalyzer machine near the entrance. The older waitress who greeted and sat us down was a bit surly and seemed slightly irritated by our presence. Enjoyed beer and wings and the indoor air conditioning. The wings were below average quality but we’re only $6/10. I don’t recommend getting the Greek wings as they were very dry skin.
Nice place on the way to Nelson. The fish and chips were excellent. Pretty standard pub food menu. Live bands and a pool table. All in all a great pub. We’ll be back!
Have been meaning to try The Dam for quite a while. Finally stopped in after a solid MTB in Nelson. Burgers were great, decent price but everything has gone up now with inflation. Atmosphere is relaxed, service was great. Nice patio as well and actually felt safe leaving Bikes in truck while eating as could still see them. Grab a burger!!
The sign says open at noon on Saturday and Sunday. We were there at 12:45 pm and it was closed with no explanation as to why posted on the door. Wont waste our time stopping again.
Amazing food, amazing staff and overall a fun place to hangout! We ordered the salmon bowl, grilled chicken bowl & caesars and could not have been happier! Their food is beyond amazing!!!
Great spot to stop on your way driving through. Really pub atmosphere and food. Pool table. Great burgers and pub fare. Friendly staff.
We stopped in after a long walk for a beer and snacks, and we were not disappointed. The nachos were fresh and delicious. I will definitely come here again when I'm in the area.
Burger month convinced is to try this place. The burger was amazing! We were avoiding dining in so it was great that they had a drive through pickup window. I now wouldn't hesitate to get a regular menu listing, thanks to the burger month test. Also, if you're not looking to drive into town to find good food, this location right off the highway is amazing!
Fast service and a terrific salmon rice bowl and Greek salad from a friendly helpful staff.
Went there on wing night. Had to wait a bit for a table a good sign, I would say and had the spicy dill wings. Yum! Warm beer though ... Which was a bit too bad.
