Cunninghams Family Restaurant

This is a nice little restaurant with good food, fast and friendly service and the prices are competitive with prices in that area. Most of the knocks that I've read against them are unfair IMO. Mackinaw City is not a cheap place to visit and, as I said, the prices are fair when you look at the other places in the area. The food was good. I had the Chicken Pastie and it was really good. My wife had the Fish N' Chips and the fish was flaky and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. As for the service, we had an infant with a stroller in this place (Which is pretty small) and they were super nice and accommodating. The food came out quickly and we were on our way in a very timely matter. We all agreed that we would be returning on our next visit to the area.

This place is awesome. I just returned home for a week vacation in Mackinaw. We had breakfast at Cunninghams 5 of the 7 days we were there. We even made a point to stop in and have breakfast on our way out of town. Love the service. Love the food. Wish I didn't live over 2 hours away. Cunninghams is a true favorite.

My waitress Meghan was great. She was very polite and always there when I needed something. The Walleye and Perch are great. The cook here is great. I enjoyed it very much..

Overpriced for the quality of food, slow service and when I paid with my card, they charged me a service fee of several dollars and never said a word until AFTER they swiped the card and I questioned them about it. Then they had nothing to say but "sorry" while they smirked and pointed to a tiny sign with confusing wording about a fee. A real restaurant would tell you this BEFORE they swipe the card...but there are plenty of better places to eat than this place!
