With more than 30 years of experience, attorney Doug Warlick has the ability to effectively resolve family law issues. During his long and distinguished career, he has received many honors and awards and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 2004.

We are capable of effectively resolving any matter related to family law. In some cases, the matter must go to trial, but often Mr. Warlick is able to orchestrate a settlement through negotiation, mediation, or collaborative law. Doug and his associates were not my first attorneys but wish I had found them first.  He was professional and compassionate for my situation.  They were able to get things moving along and within six months completed my divorce, custody and relocation.  This firm was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had.  Made a difficult time little more easy knowing I had them.  

Always had someone in court representing me.  Doug and firm kept me in the loop with emails and court summons as I no longer lived in Illinois.  I have read some comments about money.  Well people you get what you pay for.  Remember I said had previous attorney, well he was cheap flat fee and did nothing and when ex husband started contesting stated he no longer could represent me.  Doug was extraordinary, I called him and was able to see him same day.  Next day all was filed in court since first attorney did not do that.  Doug will work with clients in regards to payments.  For my case even forgave the interest that had piled up.  Communication is everything.  Remember he has done his part and just because it is over or some did not like the outcome he is still entitled to his wages. 

Not always are the attorneys at fault for how long it takes.  My case my ex kept asking for continuances and went thru 3 attorneys which gave each of them an additional 30 days each to get caught up.  I believe it would have been done in 3 months if my ex did not keep firing his attorneys.  Because of this, Doug was able to go after my ex for some of the fees.  

I would recommend Doug Warlick and associates to anyone.  Thank you for everything your firm did for myself and my daughter.

I highly recommend Doug Warlick for anyone looking for a family law matter. He treated me professionally and was very knowledgeable regarding the parenting plan and the marital settlement. Doug came as a referral for me and I was not disappointed. He has been available for for questions after the fact and has responded quickly. Thanks for all your help Doug!

I am so grateful that Douglas Warlick & Associates handled my difficult divorce.  The process took two years to complete because opposing sides would not comply.  I am not the type of person who constantly goes to court so I felt out of sorts but Doug was informative and professional.  He always arrived to court prepared and ready to fight for me.  He would keep me informed about our next step. He would thoroughly explain how the judge could provide different outcomes.  During the trial, Doug was confident, precise, and aggressive.  He covered every aspect of my divorce with supporting documents.  He did not allow anything to get past him in the court room.  I appreciate his warm and caring demeanor but make no mistake he will fight for you like a pit bull in court.  He will not back down and will defend his client with fervency.  He is dedicated to his client!!!  I would highly recommend Douglas & Associates to anyone who is going through a nasty divorce and has issues with child custody, child support, maintenance, and retirement issues.  Because Doug was so thorough, the judge granted the dissolution of marriage in my favor.  Attorney Warlick took on my case pro bono, treated me with the upmost respect, and WON my case.  I am forever grateful to him and his supporting staff.

Doug is the only attorney to be so real with me. He told me what to expect and helped me understand divorce is no easy or cheap obstacle. He helped me understand there is no guarantees in this field and I needed to be ready for anything. If there is ever an experience where someone needs an attorney; talk with Doug and he will do his best to help by either using his own law firm or if he does not believe he can take a certain type of case, he will give a recommendation to someone who will help with Doug's professionalism.

I am a single mother who was seeking custody of my child, I retained his firm to help me in the matter and it took 18 months and over $8000 to get nowhere in what I was promised by Mr. Warlick would take a month or two and be covered under the retainer of $2500 to complete. 

I am now losing the custody battle I spent years working on and winning on my own because of this man's stupidity. He never showed for any of the court appearances, I saw him a total of one time on my initial meeting, he sent in Otto, his assistant (an absolute train wreck who looked as if he had just rolled out of bed, hadn't showered in days and never had a clue as to what case he was showing up for!) who proceeded to sit on "multiple files and cases", according to Warlick, before walking out. 

I was never given notice as to what was going on in my case, I was charged obscene amounts of money for work that was never completed and/or even done. He removed these charges after I complained that nothing was getting done and that there should not have been charges. He then lied to the courts in an attempt to get more money from me saying that I never contested the charges made even though there were multiple complaints made in both verbal conversations as well as VIA email. 

DO NOT HIRE THIS IDIOT!! He will take you for everything you're worth, he will lie to you, he will ruin your case and most likely lose the case all together.

He is unprofessional and a liar. I don't know how he passed the bar and I don't know how he retains his license to practice law in any state.
