For nearly 18 months, my spouse & I have been living in a constant state of stress & fear. During this very taxing time, we had felt that the court & justice system had continually failed to protect, serve, & carry out the rule of law. At times we felt helpless, dehumanized & practically ignored by the legal system. Even after an arrest was finally made, we were continually discouraged that anything pertaining to this individual would come to a stop so that we could live our lives peacefully again. My spouse & I exhausted every option available to us. We can't even begin to tell you how many law firms that we contacted. The lack of empathy & willingness to take on our case was unbelievable to us. Phone call after phone call, we had gotten nowhere, & here we were with 2 days left before a court date that was to be set for a hearing & we had no legal representation whatsoever, nor anyone that wanted to take our case on. We had practically given up hope on making anymore phone calls. It was heartbreaking & demoralizing for us that our voice was not going to be heard & that we could possibly lose our case to a sleazy & highly repulsive criminal defense attorney that was willing to pull every trick 'out of the hat' to minimize us at all cost. Late one evening, I decided to make one last phone call. Not expecting much, I gave the same story to the secretary & then she had told me that she would connect me right away to Marissa Hanson. After talking on the phone to Marissa for well over a half-hour, she expressed confidence in taking on our case on & asked when was the soonest that we could come in to show her our evidence, paperwork, etc. With such short notice & an array of information to go thru, Marissa did her homework & showed up to court prepared & confident in our ability to win. For the first time, we didn't feel discouraged.. Marissa Hanson, along with her wonderful colleagues, did a fantastic job on our case. We won & received exactly the results that we had sought out for. We are eternally grateful for Marissa & all the fabulous ladies at Serrano, Low & Hanson. We highly recommend them.

Lidia Serrano has been helpful as well with answering questions throughout the process. A great big thank you to this firm. I would highly recommend utilizing this firm for family related matters.
