The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Peterborough

Nice location with a good bar. There is lots of parking as well. They have a great wine selection and the drinks were also very good. It is exactly what you want from a Keg steak House. Went here for dinner with my wife and daughter. The service was great and the drinks were also great. My steak was cooked perfectly and I thought my meal was very good. My wife and daughters were not as well cooked and we unfortunately got a bad steak meaning it was tough but those things happen. The staff were completely understanding and corrected the issue. I would go back as I had a nice time and meal.

Exceptional dinner, In a nice cozy atmosphere. Starting with the fresh Caesar salad with large full leaves of lettuce. Super cheesy garlic toast. To the mouth watering main course of a bone-in Rib Eye steak paired with garlic mashed potatoes, with a side of mushrooms cooked right in with the steak, and vegetables. Topping it off with a free , large slice of Billy Miner Pie for our anniversary! The Keg is the perfect place for a special occasion.

Enjoyed by time at this location. Although I was disappointed they no longer offer nacho chips, as I always got them as a gluten-free option for some apps, I had a very pleasant experience nonetheless. The manager came up to me to ensure that my food would be handled with care which I really appreciated. I got the baseball sirloin which I normally get and I asked for it "chicago" style which is now my favourite way- I highly recommend getting your rib steak or sirloin Chicago style. I also really like that they offer mini desserts, it's the perfect end to a wonderful dinner!

Ordered the Baseball Top Sirloin rate but it came medium-rare. Caleigh and Paul were sure to correct the issue immediately and returned with a perfectly cooked steak. They offered free desert without prompt which We felt was unnecessary given how they took care of us otherwise. Caleigh was attentive, and friendly. The mushrooms were delectable. Great service and food.

Not a fan of the Fall features. The bread for the beef tartar was overly salty and the Filet wellington was just not good. Everything else was good. Service was great.Food: 2/5

We have been to the Keg this location a bunch of times but today was one of the best. The server was awesome, the food was delicious and we felt 100% taken care of. I asked for a large glass of soda water and got a whole jug! Above and beyond: Parking: Full parking in a mall parking lot

The Keg is my absolute favorite Canadian restaurant chain. Their standards are high and the quality of everything on the menu is best-in-class. The annual Lobster Summer promo was on during this visit. It's the best yet. I ordered a half lobster with prime rib combo and loved every bite. Cheers to the Peterborough Keg staff and management on making sure our party of 6 had a phenomenal meal and a super night.

The food was excellent, but the service needs some work. Our server decided to bring the salad, which was part of our dinner before our apps. When the apps arrived, we requested the salad be returned to the kitchen so that it can be enjoyed before dinner and after the apps. The server argued with us about this and then discussed this with other tables. As we were finishing up our dinner we noticed the server chatting with another table whose patrons were looking directly at us. Very unprofessional.

Been here about 4 times now with my girlfriend. Absolutely amazing every time. The staff always goes above and beyond. The environment is amazing and so far I’ve never had a issue here. Atmosphere: The keg has a very well made atmosphere. Everything from the lamps, the wood and the seating. And even the smaller stuff like Cups and plates, are all well balanced and look like they belong. Staff: The staff are absolutely amazing. They are great at understanding and interpreting what you say. Even though you are a complete stranger they seem easy to have a conversation with and are not too invasive when you’re having your meal. And they excel at the little things. Food: the food is simply delightful. Every time I eat here the food meets and often times goes beyond my expectations! Cons. The only cons I see of eating here is the price and really the only other thing that to others could be a slight issue is the lighting. It is pretty dark, However to me that is something I personally enjoy.
