We loved this place. Their avocado smoothie is proper. Their fried spring rolls are crispy and delicious. We had serious difficulty choosing what to have, everything looked amazing. Bahn mi was delicious. Service was super friendly and the inside was well renovated and clean. Love it, definitely coming back for some pho.
Our experience dining in at Hanoi House on Lansdowne yesterday evening was EXCEPTIONAL- definitely the best Vietnamese food we have had in a while. Everything was so fresh and flavours so vibrant. Generous portion sizes. We were particularly impressed with the amount and quality of the proteins on each dish. The lemongrass chicken with rice and broken egg pictured was SO. GOOD. BBQ pork vermicelli was also excellent. Vietnamese Lemonade was gorgeous to look at and in taste. You could tell everything was prepared with utmost care, a passion for food, and attention to detail- not just thrown together like your typical restaurant. All we could talk about during our meal was how amazing the food was. It is seriously good. Not to mention the actual restaurant itself is designed beautifully. Our server Jordan was also incredibly friendly and attentive to us throughout the entire meal and was the cherry on top of an overall incredibly refreshing dining experience. Hanoi house will definitely be our new spot. Seriously, take my money!! 10/10
Dined in the restaurant for the first time after being frequent take-out customers. We had a great meal and the service was great! We liked this location for its large dining area but the taste was just as great as the other location. Definitely the kind of place we come back to time and time again.
The food is amazing, portions big, take out time is fast! Wish I could eat here every day. Pork vermicelli is our favourite. The specials are always a great deal.
Wow! We’re from TO and have had our fair share of pho. The broth is so beefy and full of aromatics - we can taste the star anise, cloves and cinnamon. The meat, tendon and tripe were so tender. We also ordered the grilled chicken bun. The chicken was well seasoned and grilled. Lots of fresh lettuces and pickled carrots. The only thing I missed was the cilantro! Lastly we ordered the pork belly bahn mi. The meat was very tasty and the only feedback is that we would’ve preferred the Vietnamese baguette over the French baguette for a lighter, more fluffy texture! Over, love the vibe of the place and the food. Would come back for oysters if we lived here. Maybe on another trip!!!
This place has one of the best service one could ask for in a restaurant setting. The staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable in their menu. It's a great place to fill your stomach at a great price! They also carry vegan options so no one is left out!
OMG. This place knocked my socks off. Had the spring rolls, garlic shrimp noodles and Vietnamese house fried rice. Exceptional food. Great ambiance. Super friendly staff. Very impressed. This place is equal to or better than any Vietnamese spot on spadina in Toronto.
By far the best Vietnamese food I've ever had so far! The pork bahn mi was extremely satisfying! The only sad thing is they are so far away from me. I know for sure they are worth the drive.
Do your self a favour by avoiding the place. Bad food. Vietnamese curry, they served with whole chick paes, what a joke. Never ever saw that in more than 50 restaurants I visited. Not close to authentic Vietnamese at all. Never coming back.
We recently travelled to Peterborough to visit my daughter and decided to try Hanoi House for lunch. Very very impressed! We were immediately greeted and seated and offered water and menus. The dining area and kitchen as it is open concept is very clean. We ordered the 4 person meal. Everything came to the table very quickly within 10 minutes with proteins piping hot and veggies fresh and crisp . Plenty of food here and very VERY good! Service was amazing too. We were checked on 4-5 times by our servers to refresh drinks and make sure everything was satisfactory. The young ladies who attended to us were very polite and friendly - eager to serve. Hanoi House - Top Drawer! Highly recommend!
