The Keg Steakhouse + Bar

I first came here to this location during dine out Vancouver. At the time I gave it a relatively poor review. I came back here a few months later and it looks like the quality of the food here has really elevated. The starter bread was freshly baked and was surprisingly good. We had the prime rib and the lamb rack. The prime rib was a perfect medium rare, juicy and tender. The twice baked potato on the side was delicious, but the green beans were a bit tough. My lamb rack was delicious as well. I ordered it medium and it was exactly that. No gamyness whatsoever. Vegetable hash had a nice texture to it. For desert we had the Billy miner pie - if you like almonds, you'll love this pie. Service was also fantastic.

I rated it low based on the service alone. The food was excellent. Unfortunately it took over 20 min to just get our check and before that another 10 just to get a coke. I recommend the place for great food but the service was terrible.

The service was exceptional and the food was very good. I had the prime rib, it was one of the most flavorful and tender cuts of prime rib I can remember having. It was a very enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back again!

Excellent and pricy. The steak Oscar is delicious as is the ice cream (mud) pie with almond slivers. Very good wines as well. I like the Granville island location, Yale town is interesting as well

Quite possibly the best steakhouse I've ever seen in Canada! They are a bit on the pricey side, but it's 100% worth it! For the caesar salad loves out there, this place has a good one. Tastes like the dressing is made from scratch. Mmm!
