The Keg Steakhouse + Bar

Normally I am a big fan of The Keg. I go there for nearly every birthday. However, the service this last time was really questionable. Twice my sister found hair on her food or utensils. Accidents happen, but it was upsetting nonetheless. My father's order was wrong. He clearly placed his order for one thing and received the other. My meal was fine, though the beer selection has been curtailed and I found that frustrating. For the record they comped my sister's meal. I really like The Keg, but may try a different location next time.

Had a fantastic early Valentine's dinner tonight. The service and food were both excellent. Nerissa was prompt, attentive and very polite. I had the rib steak done medium, which was cooked perfectly - definitely recommended! We'll be back for sure!!

Food is always delicious. Our wait staff was great. Very kind and inrroduced us to three cheese butter...unreal! I wish the other customers would recognize a fancier dress code. Sweat pants to the keg? Not cool.

Me and my friends went to this location last week to celebrate my birthday. We are all a group of young guys who may be labeled as being rowdy based on our age and gender. On behalf of my friend I feel he was discriminated against and treated unfairly as he was constantly patronized by the manager who labelled him as being difficult and not only ruined his experience but ours too. His food was the only food that was not prepared properly and although he was reimbursed for the meal he felt this was intentional. The waiter was incredibly helpful and friendly in the end we ended up tipping her for the cost of the uncharged meal (steak and lobster). Overall as a group we feel he was treated unfairly and the managers behavior unwarranted and completely unprofessional.

I was just here last night and have been going to this location for a long time as my boyfriend really likes steak. The staff is always wonderful and accommodating. I don’t remember ever having a bad experience. Somehow they found out we were celebrating my birthday this one time and gave me a complimentary dessert which I thought was very nice. Although it was a birthday dinner, it was a actually a few days after my real birthday. My family also enjoys eating here on special occasions. Although I like the steaks at Canyon Creek in Mississauga more (their mushroom steak is to die for), this place has the best mashed potatoes hands down! The only real complaint I have about this place is don’t get the seafood or the vegetables. It is beyond bland. My family is from Vietnam and they are really into seafood so I was really disappointed to learn that for such a high price, it was less than mediocre. The avocado in the taretare I had was also not ripe either. I just don’t think they do the veggies and seafood well. Overall, a nice place whether for a casual dinner or a nice night out!
