The owner was very nice & made us feel very welcomed as soon as he walked in. The food is made to order, so expect to wait for your food. The food was definitely worth the wait and exceeded our expectations. Tandoori Chicken was amazing & the best part of the platter. We ordered the 2 people platter & got fries as our free appetizer free appetizer with family platter Friday-Sunday. Would highly recommend visiting here.
We ordered the family platter which serves around 3-4ppl...however it was more than enough for 2 adults and 4 kids eldest 6yrs and youngest 4yrs! The kids throughly enjoyed the food and the ambience was perfect! Will definitely come again.
We went for Iftaar and we absolutely loved the food, the ambiance and the staff we so nice. We Ordered Family Kabab platter 2. Kids loved Tandoori Chicken Fries, we loved Malai chicken breast! The staff were really nice to offer us Free lentil soup , Jazak Allah khayran.
The owner needs to get his manners and customer service straight. Instead of accepting the mistake he will give you 10000 explanations and believes what he says is right. With utmost arrogance you can’t run business dude. People don’t care you have one restaurant or 20 they need the worth of the money they spend. And stop making foolish explanations for the inedible food your staff makes. Note: This owner will proudly tell you he doesn’t even know how to cook but will explain you how good the food is, how well it is cooked, how everything they they make is so delicious…. And he is running businesses successfully- probably by making uneatable food with minimum costs.
Quiet place, yummy food and passionate team from chef to frontline crew! I often visit here and couldn’t share my consistent experience before. Same quality food and consistently great customer service every time. I visited last Saturday with my family 2 small kids and rice was not ready to serve. They mentioned it upfront that it will take 25 min. My kids love their rice and kabab recipe so we were ok to wait. We placed an order and waiting for the food. They felt the emptiness on the table and offered some samosas to kids. So kids won’t feel hungry until rice gets cooked. How thoughtful of them! And yes, we love the quietness of the ambience, keep it as is. No need to play any background music like other places. See you soon!
I ordered food from this place and they gave me bread with the order. The bread was taken out of the fridge and warmed up in the microwave. The bread was fine at first but after a minute it was stone hard. I couldn’t eat it. Before leaving, check your food especially the bread. Make sure the bread is not stone hard.
Ordering from the kabab shoppe for close to two years and they have never ever disappointed. Quality of the food and the taste is consistent. I always get the mix grill for two with my wife for dinner, and we always have leftovers to reheat for lunch the next day. Ps. Buy their garlic sauce that they sell bottled. You can eat that with anything, my toddlers love their garlic sauce with their rice.
Delicious. Be sure to call in first so you don't have to wait. Good food takes time. Friendly staff, fresh food and wonderful flavours. Will be recommending to my friends!
Today I bought the chicken and veal kebobs, it was really juicy and flavourful. My family loved it. I would recommend this restaurant for any meal. Their Pickering location is just as good. 10/10
Tasty and good portions.. service was neither good or bad, just was... the quality and quantity was good for the dollar value, my only real complaint was that it was completely covered in sauce that I wasn't asked about as it was made behind the wall.. next time I'll know but I should have been asked, especially since I mentioned a dairy sensitivity. I will be returning for sure
