The Ivy Lounge

I was an aw the first time I shot a wedding at The Ivy room! The Ivy Room is nestled in the heart of downtown Chicago and hidden from view. The fact that it is hidden in plain sight makes it feel even more magical. Walking into the garden area you feel like you have been transported into another world. The outdoor courtyard with dripping ivy is the perfect spot for an intimate and romantic city wedding ceremony. The head coordinator there was so helpful and was wonderful to work with. She really went above and beyond for my client. The whole staff did really. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding day.

Pam and the Ivy Room team were amazing. Flexible, easy to work with, and made our wedding beyond our expectations! I still get texts saying how amazing it was from our guests. This event space truly knows how to make any event special!

Natalie, Giuseppe and the whole Ivy Room team made our special day even more special than I could have ever dreamed. From start to finish, Natalie was extremely attentive, answered my EVERY question and went above and beyond. And don't even get me started on the food. IT WAS INCREDIBLE. So many people came up to me at the end of the night to tell me what an amazing time they had at our wedding and how the food was impeccable. It truly was all that and then some. We feel so blessed and lucky. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

The Ivy Room is better than anything I could have hoped and dreamed for, and the staff are amazing individuals! The venue itself is just gorgeous - we our wedding here in May 2021 and had our cocktail hour in the downstairs library / old club room and our dinner was outside in the courtyard. The whole team at Ivy Room made sure the setup of all my décor, flowers, and light fixtured went smoothly and was exactly what I was looking for. Throughout the whole process, Kiran was incredible, giving me suggestions and working through the multiple planning and re-planning needed because of COVID. She always was fast to answer any questions I had and let me pop into the space a few times to take pictures or measurements of things. The food at Ivy Room is also AMAZING. Everyone still talks about it. We knew it was going to blow everyone away when the tasting was so good and my now husband and I couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. The selections where great, they were SOOO accommodating to a large number of dietary restrictions I and some of my guests had, and the food was cooked to perfection the salmon in particular, because I feel that most restaurants overcook salmon, but Ivy Room nails it. The people are also amazing. As I mentioned, Kiran is a rockstar! Brittney, the operations manager, is also incredible!! She managed the whole operations of the venue, staff, set up flawlessly on our big day. I can't thank the team at Ivy Room enough for everything they did for us, it was such an amazing experience working with the team and getting to celebrate our wedding at The Ivy Room!

Unique venue for small to mid size intimate events. There is a parking garage directly across the street which makes it convenient.

Went to a private event from ezCater here last week. Great space for any of your events. They had a nice Upper Floor Hall that was large and spacious for around 20 different caterers. Downstairs there's the bar and luxurious bathrooms and coat check. Had a great time you should check it out for your next event!

Ivy Room is the perfect venue for weddings and any events. The outdoor courtyard, ballroom, and lower lounge are absolutely beautiful with modern and vintage vibes. Ivy Room is so elegant and the ivy walls add natural romantic touches. The staff provided excellent service at our wedding and our guests commented how amazing the team served during dinner. Don't get me started on the food, Lettuce Entertain You, was the highlight for our wedding guests. During the reception, we received texts from our friends saying this is the best wedding meal they've ever had. We had a 4 course meal, and everything was so delicious. We kept receiving comments how the second and main entrees were divine. Our friends are in the food industry, and they noticed how every dish was freshly cooked and presented beautifully. Pam, our day of coordinator from Ivy Room, was the superstar of our day. She planned with us throughout the year and designed the flawless logistics. Pam is attentive to small details and made sure we had our drinks/food when we had the time to eat. We also had a packed timeline with the Korean ceremony during reception, and Pam kept everything smooth and moving along despite all the events we had in our day. Pam is the sweetest, and she really was an important partner in our wedding. I can't thank Pam, the staff, and the chef enough for bringing the best night of our lives. Seriously, highly recommend Ivy Room and can't wait to return for future events.

The Ivy room is a spectacular place for a wedding. It's very clean environment. Food was delicious though portions were smaller. The bar is absolutely fantastic. Dancing was a bit cramped, yet fun. I highly recommend this place. You will love comming here with your family and friends.

The Ivy Room is really nice. The location is perfect, with parking nearby. The place is beautiful, indoor/outdoor space with multiple levels to lounge. Nice staff, and products selection w/ various options to choose from. I would recommend this place if you're interested in booking a private party as well! Enjoy!

We had my daughter's baby shower there. It was beautiful, the staff was amazing and so accommodating. The food for the brunch was delicious.
