The Home Depot

This Home Depot is the closest hardware store to me and is my go-to for the majority of my hardware needs. It has a very good selection and the pricing is typically good as well. Discontinued items area sometimes has some good stuff. Place is clean and staff is knowledgeable for the most part.

I had a wonderful experience here from start to finish. Very knowledgeable staff helped me with my plans for insulating and soundproofing my basement, friendly and positive cashiers who added flair to my day, and a very willing and able carry oit crew who helped make sure I was loaded up properly and on my way with a smile. Can't recommend this location enough, thanks guys!

Prices are competitive and the staffs are polite. Their electrical department has everything you need to wire a house from start to finish. I really like their garden centre. It's big, has a large selection of plants and has a nice nature feeling when you're there. They also have a good selection of seeds if you want to grow your own fruits and vegetables. They have a huge selection of tools good for all kinds of work.

A very mixed bag. I have had two extremely positive interactions with helpful staff like Christine L who provided 7/5 service.nnI have also had a couple of neutral experiences with staff who seemed bothered that I was unfamiliar with the exact tool required and wanted a little guidance on the purchase. This is fine but disappointing after such positive ones there.nnNow why the two stars?nnSimply put there is no after customer care.nnI purchased an expensive, heavy and large Kohler toilet that will not stop dripping from the toilet waterline connector even with the fluid master twist and click hoses. After speaking with the manager on 19 March 2024 at 1900 hours there is no way to have the defective toilet taken away and pay for a new one to be delivered and installed.nnSo anyone who is older or disabled is expected to bring a 78 pound 3 foot by 4 foot box properly wrapped back to the store for exchange. This means paying for someone to bring a defective product the Home Depot sold you back to them so you can get a working one.nnHeaven forbid if you buy a refrigerator from them; the only conclusion is buying large items elsewhere where they actually have customer friendly policies for replacement of non working products.

Helpful staff, friendly.Great variety of renovation products to choose from. Prices vary but some excellent products on sale, special promotions and lots of various clearance items. Lots of products to help make up your mind when looking at various costs and choices!
