I am a finishing Carpenter and have used Glenora Lumber since the 90s. They specialize in finishing materials and will not disappoint if that's what you're after. Get your prehanged doors here, leave Home Despotic for the occasional piece of trim you may need, the prehangs are machined properly by guys that know what they're doing and the price per unit is lower than the big box stores with higher quality.

God awful. Called ahead to see if they had a specific joist hanger that I needed. Said they had it in stock. Showed up, said no, they would need to check their suppliers. Then waited for 15 minutes, and asked if I should start calling around myself to see if I can find it in stock in town. Guys said "sure, wouldn't hurt". I do, and find the part on my own at a competitors. I will never set foot in there again.

Staff was very knowledgeable! I wasn't sure exactly what I needed to order for the rails I wanted to install around my deck. The sales person helped me figure out what I needed and the price was reasonable. I will be going back to order materials for my other household projects!
