Ordering materials to build a house and garage. Very first order canceled.nWhy? Well after talking to 4 different departments found out why.nMy order was 9 pallets, system for the driver said 7. So he refused to take it. Now I'm pushed back at least a week. Over some guy not liking the number 7? Seriously?nnFinally get my order and it's short. Seriously?
Interesting trip to Home Depot. I went in asking for help to find an item I needed to order. The guy that started to help me was at the end of his shift. The next guy just bailed on me quickly. We were looking at items to see if we could figure it out and abruptly he just said I can’t help you. I need to help the next people in line. Oh and I forgot he made sure to tell me the associate that helped me in the isle should not have told me to go ask as the service desk to see if it could be ordered. Whole interaction after waiting my turn maybe 5 minutes. No patience at all . Likely why the guy getting off shift seemed flustered with this service desk person .
This is not the first time I have been in Waterville and seen messes like this. The amount of orders they stage on the sales floor is absolutely ignorant. Trying to get through the lumber area is a joke. People need room to move and get lumber and sheets of plywood SAFELY and put it on their cart. Now add the safety hazards and mess on the floor this is all unacceptable and a lawsuit in the making. Where is the training? Where is the pride in giving customers a good/safe shopping experience?
Don’t believe any shipping dates Home Depot in Waterville Maine tells you when ordering cabinets! I ordered cabinets mid July and was told the estimated arrival date was August 7th, which was better than other companies said so we ordered them. Went on the 7th and was told they would there on the 9th. Today is the 12th and was told they just shipped and they could t say when they might be in by the Assistant Manager Domanic. He said “it is what it is, it’s in the venders hands not theirs”. Don’t buy cabinets here if you can avoid it!! And I’m a “Elite Pro extra military” contractor.nnMy cabinets finally arrived and I would love to give shoot out to Dawn a manager who was absolutely the most respectful, professional and caring manager I ever seen at any Home Depot! She helped me understand some things I wasn’t aware of for sure. She definitely is a person I will continue to work with. Thank you Dawn!!!
The lady at the customer service desk with oxygen on her face and front teeth missing rendered the worst customer service I've honestly ever experienced in my life. I'm appalled how rude one individual can be to someone who tried their hardest to he nice with them. I get it, you're a boomer and entitled. You don't need to hate life and everyone around you. Just because you're miserable, doesn't mean you need to take down everyone around you.
